I loved playing this game. I didn't get my own video game console until the N64, but I liked playing the SNES at my aunt and uncle's house, and when I got this it was great because it felt like I was playing Super Mario World, but on a Game Boy.

I only acquired this game in my collection long after it was released, but when I heard tunes like this one I still felt a rush of nostalgia... the many happy memories of the gamers that got to play one of the greatest achievements in handheld gaming, Super Mario Land 2.

I don't remember how old I was, but I got this for either Christmas or my birthday the year it came out, and I was so excited to get it. I remember getting so emotional whenever I would die on the moon stage lol. The Pumpkin Zone was my favorite, and the Turtle Zone I absolutely hated. Ah, good times, good times.
