@DrmrGuy1979 And with that, you have contradicted your own point. Mad that I'm right, eh? Sorry, look at the hands, you'll actually see where he hits rim. He's way better than I am, but I don't choke up on my left stick.
Check out the tenor drummer closest to the camera, see how he choked up a good two inches compared to his right hand? That's what causes rims, children. Slide the stick back, you don't have to reach as far to hit the drum.
Being on the end isnt necessarily a bad thing. A lot of techs put people on the ends because their good marchers and the end is the hardest to march. Im guess Keelan marches well.
I was wondering ... is there reason as to why Keelan Tobia is still on the end of the sanreline? I've been watching some videos and if I'm not mistaking this is his 3rd year with the Blue Devils. The only reason I could think of would be to have a strong player on the end of the snareline but is that something the Blue Devil's do?
@FulcrumFreddie Yes, TheCoochiecoo is correct; most techs generally tend to put the stronger snare players in the center for the rest to listen in for clarity and on the very ends because they tend to have much more demanding movements during their transitions from set to set during their production.
@someblackguy666 The strongest snare player or the section leader would be in the middle and the next 2 strongest are on the outside because they are strong enough to listen into the midd and keep people from messing up
CLEAN!

that awkward moment when you ask your drum teacher if he knows who the blue devils are and he tells you he was on cadets.......

@FulcrumFreddie I actually read somewhere that Keelan, when asked online, said it was organized by height. And I believe it. He did just when I&E...
