the hemi made right over 300rwhp unsure of the tq it made..

weight reduction meaning it weighs less than stock the cars at the time of the race were within a hundred lbs or so of each other.

the chevelle is a 72, ss or not, they sucked (that year atleast). bestt engine option was only a ls5, and for 72, the hp output was down right embarassing (compared to the ls5 of 70, not to mention the ls6)

the chevelle may as well been a small block, or at best a 396, or 402.... which still blew wang stock.

side note, nice gt, i would love a set of dd 10th annis svts for my gt.
