Anyway, youtube shouldn't be about how well you name your film or how often you spam others pages just to get big.
Youtube should have an up and coming section on the home page (just like the itunes app store) for featured low budget, young (or even old) film makers with low view counts, hand picked maybe even by the top contributors ie FreddieW, MysteryGuitarMan, etc.
PS (you should check out FC Rabbath. He has amazing short films and SHOULD be more noticed)
Hmmm, I love this video. I've seen heaps of channels that have far more subscribers/ than me that I know without doubt I am better than. Of course there are many who are better than me, but there's some pretty crap ones too. In fact I've seen one or two partners whose videos I thought weren't really at that level.....
You also have to understand: people who have a lot of Subscribers did work really hard to get there. There were at 0 Subscribers at one point too. It's hard to work your way up, but it's what you gotta do. Granted, people can help. But ppl with SO many Subscribers probably won't see your comment or get your message, it's hard. That's why you work/collab with people in your range, who's about the same as you, and you help each other build.
with the other comments but i strongly agree with everyone in this video and think you are amazing anyway but are heroic to put out your point in such an effective way and thats why i watched this video. Thankyou for making this video!!!
must be good to be one of the top searched" MarkivFilms i think your right. and also...if you wanna get in popular channels boxes then they ask "well what can you do for me" and of course you cant do much as your views are low and it's like a vicious cycle! StoneColdComedy, i think if you have a passion you should strive to it and yes, it does piss me off when these fantastic people with low views have such great talent like yourself who need to be noticed. sorry about this huge coment along
This can actually be tear breaking! Well said StonColdComedy! And VON. Glen, your not a bad actor! And yes WierdBros. I can see where your coming from, people don't think that this low viewed video which is in fact the better one is as good as a million count video. JBHmedia i think there sould be some sort of plan where youtube gives a low viewed video more of an oppertunity of being seen in a search whether it would be right next to a huge viewed video. people may then think "oh, this video...
I think you guys should campaign to get one of the YouTubers to do a weekly video where he showcases a lower-end channel. Kind of like what Joe Felice does, but he doesn't get a whole lot of views. It might never happen, but say if Shay or Kassem sponsored one channel a week, or something like that, subs. would skyrocket.
I agree with this. I remember back in 2005-2006 youtube would actually look for cool videos for their features, not just famous ones. However, it's also understandable why people look at a view count and automatically write it off. A lot of the stuff on Youtube IS unintelligible crap, and it's hard to push through the crap to find the diamond in the rough.
On a side note, I thought the upload limit on Youtube was 10 minutes.
eg, the other day I saw a channel with over 13,000 subscribers with only one, clearly horrible video.....
