The music is completely inappropriate for a video like this. It's a beautiful video to look at so why not have something calming to match it, instead of this generic metal crap. Sick of people spoiling potentially good videos with shit music.

Thats why its not such a big hit. And as for game of the year, well, just look at how popular it is. That should explain alot. (its not that popular, apart of the fact it has amazing graphics)

Hardcore gamers will enjoy Crysis more, but for easy to pick up gaming, Halo is the way to go. The learning curve is just different. Get the hang of it, learn some tricks, and you're set.

Well, you'll definitely be able to play it on max with average 35 fps @ 720p resolution. But I think 1080p will be playable as well, around 22-25 fps maybe. :) For Crysis it's normal.

I mod the game. I know how it works. The only way you can say it doesn't have game play, is if you don't understand how the shields work and you end up dieing every time you go in MP. Crysis has terrible Game play. Go look at the ratings. Crysis is way lower compared to any Halo game out there.
And you would wonder why Crysis doesn't make as much money.
I don't disagree about the modding part. I love the graphics. But the game play isn't as good as halo's.
Dude! The halo single player suck ass! My friend Bought Halo 3 for Xbox 360 cuz everyone said it kicked so much ass. When i played co-op with him i was thinking " What the fuck, this game is so fucking over rated." I got Crysis and well.... maybe the best single player game i've ever played
from what I have heard and experienced, the ati radeon 4800 series is probably the next card you should update too, thats what i did after my 8800 but i have a very low cpu its a core 2 Duo at 2.0 so its hard for me plus im on vista with only 2 gigs of ram but hopefully ill upgrade soon. nice specs though.
My CPU isn't the best (2.3GHz default), I just overclocked it a bit. But if you have an overclocked 8800GT or higher, there's no point in upgrading your videocard today. It runs all games on highest settings, even Crysis at 1024x768 @ 30-35 FPS stable, and crappy GTA IV port is very playable. I think next Summer-Fall will be a good time to upgrade.
what exactly did you use to overclock you processor or did you do it in the bios because i can't figure out how to overclock this thing if my life depended on it.
well go with something more average like a 8800 or a ati radeon 4850 the 4850 is better but its more expensive. and get a quad core or at least a 2.5 ghz dual core 4 gigs will be great and 40 fps on ultra high that really depends at what resolution you run at.
Ohh, but I like jungle :(

No. Very High is the original best setting you can have in Crysis.
Ultra high "settings" is a config you can download from crymod(dot)com :)
Basicly you change the different numbers in the original Config thats called CVarGroups.
Example:
sys_spec_Quality=4
e_sky_type=1
e_sky_update_rate=1
r_DetailTextures=1
These "codes" is customizeable. Where is says "1", you can change to a different number :) Like 1,5 or 2 etc
The Ultra High is made like that.

My CPU isn't the best (2.3GHz default), I just overclocked it a bit. But if you have an overclocked 8800GT or higher, there's no point in upgrading your videocard today. im getting the gtx260 but i have only a 1.80ghz guo core and 4 gigs of ram will i be able to run it at least at 40+ fps

I'm not sure, that's a slow CPU... The videocard is good, only it won't be able to use it's full power.
