In G3.5 what plane flys most like the hellcat because I really want to practice a plane like that. Ive been flying the P-51 and AT-6. Which plane flys the most like the Hellcat?
@DexterProductionz Any warbird will be good, really tough to say which flie sthe most like it. You should fly a different array of planes all the time, that way your skills sets are not too accustomed to only one plane. I'd stay away from the AT6 though, as it's more of a trainer style wing and plane
@DexterProductionz you bet. Still use it all the time, hovering practice with 3D planes, hard heli maneuvers, and fun flights through the obstacle courses LOL
you bet, flying scale the 91 has enough power to move a big prop around. The Hangar9 Hellcat, they recommend a Saito 100 for it, right in the instructions. Makes for an almost unlimited vertical plane. 91 should be close for the Hellcat, if that's what he puts in it.
Actually it's the Hellcat that has the Saito 125. A Saito 100 would power it fine, the Surpass would fly it, but not overly powerful. Take-offs would be a little more scale and would definitely need to watch how you flew it. The Surpass is in more of 50 size plane, lots of power for that
Thanks, almost 100% of the videos are filmed in Vancouver British Columbia at a couple different fields, the Mission Wings flying field, and Public RC Park called Kamikaze or Upper Coquitlam River Park
this guy i know is selling his hangar 9 hellcat with servos spektrum 7 ch receiver and a saito 100 4 stroke engine everything you need to fly all for $400
im flying a Hanger9 p51 mustang mkII PTS at the moment and was thinking of getting a hellcat does it have good flight characteristics? lol sorry not the best speller! lol
Thanks for subscribing, hi to our viewers in Belgium lol Hope to get more warbirds up in the air at the same time, some Corsairs and Hellcats, couple Miss America Mustangs, all should be at the field at our Scale Fun Fly in August
I do have a Moki1 2.10 to put into something big, that would be unreal. What do you think, big mustang, or maybe a spitfire, havne't had one of those, or go to the dark side and get something German Yah!
great jet is the L39 from Electrifly, have one and it's flies great. very inexpensive to start with an edf too, but hand launch. Anythign with retracts are quite heavy and more expensive
Thanks redflyier, 4 stroke engines if you use 30% nitro, they have to be a bit richer but the extra oil in 30% gives you a free smoke show, also really good for the engine, runs cooler, smoother, and more nitro so little more power
Very nice and i think the wulf shot the hellcat down there at the end and sounded like he got his engine :-) this is why i leave it a while before i watch now so as i don't have to come back and watch in HD as it's done now, great video work again Ronin=5*
Haha... I'll have to tell the guys that, one will love it lol I'm playing with the idea of changing formats of video to a quicktime, as Youtube doesn't need to convert or process it at all apparently. That would make it look better too I think, I"ll see what happens, and let you know if it works well.
What prop do you have the 1.25 turning?

Does the OS 91 surpass have any issues powering the hellcat or does it work just fine.
