@bronteteri In those parts of Yorkshire, it is quite common to see housewives wear headscarfs while doing the house work. She wears a hat because she doesnt want her hair getting bad

@Benzer3 Eli Duckett played by Danny O'Dea. He wasn't blind he just had difficulty seeing close up, but had no problem with seeing distance and it's because he wore beer-bottle glasses!

Its nice to wacth a simple show without the abuse. Feel sorry for Peter Sallis being one of the last tom remain. Must be hard.

I miss Owen and Wilde, they and Sallis were an impectible trio.

I think it would have been nice if Bill Owen and Kathy Staff would have been buried together. There's only Cleggy and Ivy left from the original series now. It's so sad. Does anyone no whether Ivys ill as we rarely see her on the series nowadays?
