@bronteteri In those parts of Yorkshire, it is quite common to see housewives wear headscarfs while doing the house work. She wears a hat because she doesnt want her hair getting bad
I shall always remember Clegg he is one of the last ones left.
A programme which will be remembered for many years to come.
To all those others who are no longer with us and have given us so much pleasure over the last 37 years then may their dear souls rest in everlasting peace, Thank you for the pleasure you all gave to others!!
@Benzer3 Eli Duckett played by Danny O'Dea. He wasn't blind he just had difficulty seeing close up, but had no problem with seeing distance and it's because he wore beer-bottle glasses!
Is there any charaters from last of the summer wine that are still alive till this day I know Peter sallis is still with us but is there anyone else????
I think it would have been nice if Bill Owen and Kathy Staff would have been buried together. There's only Cleggy and Ivy left from the original series now. It's so sad. Does anyone no whether Ivys ill as we rarely see her on the series nowadays?
Well said Matthew. All much missed. Brian Wilde was going to return for this episode, but thought it would detract attention I believe. Shame he didn't.
The one comedy programme that made me cry....wonder what happened to the "matchbox"? Thank you for posting this heart-touching episode of a great comedy series. RIP Bill Owen - and Gordon Wharmby(Wesley), Thora Hird, Brian Wilde and all those who brought us great joy in LOTSW
First time I have seen this vid, did have a tear in my eye :(

Its nice to wacth a simple show without the abuse. Feel sorry for Peter Sallis being one of the last tom remain. Must be hard.

He's burried Thornton, Owen, Staff and Wilde now, to name a few.
I miss Owen and Wilde, they and Sallis were an impectible trio.
