  • Amazing work. You are more dedicated than me. I gave up building a bow 30 minutes and $ 100 into the project lol.

  • I was wondering how much did it cost when you were all done with the entire project?

  • To - @matthew41399

    I'm not done yet.

  • y not just buy V-tread lawn tractor tires?

  • To - @Dr4x4guy

    They're not the correct size.

  • Looks more like a 1/40 scale

  • To - @bgjon87

    Check out part 11B.

My Truck is 4 feet long. Grave Digger #20 is 16 feet long.

  • you should make it 4x4

  • To - @LegoMan7242

    Easier said than done!

  • @rcWizzard even, though, i have to agree with you! haha

if you like 4x4's then please check out my lego 4x4's :)

  • @rcWizzard 85 DEGREES???? that is hotter than a super hot hot thing!

  • dear santa....

  • 85 degrees Smhhhhh i myself where i live have went through over 100 degree temps over 50 days in a row

  • To - @2fingerproductions

    BUT, you weren't SANDING tires!!

  • Looks good. I was a welder/fabricator for ten years, and remember hobbyists constantly coming to me for Tig work. Not a bad skill to have. Kudos...

  • As i started watching this video i said to myself "WTF is this guy doing?! All that cutting and sanding is SOO not worth it!" And then when i seen the tired finished back on, i said "Oh, that looks pretty damn sweet!" Good job... still dont know if i would have had the patience for that!!! Looks like an expensive Drag Tire!

  • To - @woodburyadpost

    Thanks.

    No, it's a Craftsman tire/wheel. $25 each from e-Bay.

  • @rcWizzard Yea i meant afterwords it looks like an expensive drag radial for one of those mini dragsters. hehe

  • i will have to get a video up of it it isnt to bad to control you just have to take your time and take small cuts instead of a lot

  • i heard about a trick to save some time works on my mud truck so it should work here too i use a router with a straight cut bit and u can grove the tires really easy

  • To - @bonkers9021

Sounds like that might be hard to control and might dig to deep into the tire. I would think sanding would still be needed to get it smooth for gluing.

  • Try cuttin back Tires for a scale pulling tractor... Not fun!!! And i have watched your videos over and over again so no pressure but hurry up on the next one!!! Haha

  • i just h8 the sound of rc cars

  • To - @jockeslukarn

You must watch parts 21 and 22!!

  • july 85 degress?? lmao we'd be lucky to get at least 93 in arizona lmao

  • You should have taken a tractor and did a burnout with it. That would have done the job.

  • To - @undertake782

    Nope, these are Front tires.

  • To - @RiderAnthonyMartini

    No reason.

  • better yet RC BURNOUT.

  • y not just buy some tires ?

  • To - @iluvmyaxe

1/4 Scale Monster Truck tires??? From where??

  • @rcWizzard im sure someone sells them

  • To - @RiderAnthonyMartini

    So you're shirtless too?

  • nice truck brother good work !!!!

  • Oh I find it funny, I don't care u say to be continued funny y u not wearin a shirt freak jeeeez

  • To - @MrPain1221

    So why did you ask?

  • Y r u Not wearing a shirt I heard u

  • To - @MrPain1221

So, you heard my reason for not wearing a shirt and you still ask, again?? !!

How about, I'm not ashamed about how I look with my shirt off! You??

By the way, why do you care?

  • Y r u not wearing a shirt

  • To - @MrPain1221

Did you listen to the video??

  • I have been up for the past half hour watching these videos. Words cant explained how amazed I am at what you have done and I plan on staying up and watching the rest of them. Me and my buddies build actual mud trucks and I just got into fiberglassing so I fiberglassed a marine 500 watt ATV sound system. Check out that vid if you'd like. Question though: You said Dan welded those water reservoirs for you, do you have anyone sponsoring you on this? How did you get a hold of Dan to do that?

  • To - @sfloridamudbogger

    Thanks man.

    No, no sponsors.

Ryan Anderson introduced me to Dan while RC racing at the Dungeon in NC.

  • @rcWizzard Oh that's cool. I went to DAMMPark dot com and saw the Dungeon. It looks like a really cool place. That's awesome you got to experience that and make that type of friendship where Ryan could introduce you to people in the industry. Did you get to meet Dennis?! Well I have suscribed to your videos. It may take a while longer, but I cant wait to see the finished product! As I said I stayed up and watched all of the videos. This is an AMAZING project you've got going on.

  • To - @sfloridamudbogger

Yes, Dennis gave me the name "The Wizzard".

  • y didnt u just buy go kart sliks

  • To - @phatgabec17

    To small.

  • why did you go trough all this work to get the tires bald? If you finished the car with running engine it would have done that job for you, no? I mean, do some burnouts and donuts on an asphalt strip and most off the jobs is done. Just a little sanding around the edges and you have the same result.

Great job on the car tho, and sick determination to go trough all that to get it done!

  • To - @pairdeski

Did you see when this video was posted. I did not want to wait 2 years before having the tires done. And I would rather abuse a belt sander than a Conley Engine.

  • @rcWizzard

It was honestly more of a joke then a real comment, i can imagine tht you wouldn't want to abuse the conley engine, in the mean time i've seen that video also and its a real beauty.

Good luck on finishing it, can't wait to see the result!

    Cheers

  • LOL the thing is almost up to thhe top of your leg

  • prime ex of some one with tooooo much time on thier hands..

  • To - @killer4life1000

If that were true, wouldn't I be done by now!!

  • @rcWizzard true true true LOL

  • 85 in July....hah, it's 85 here in Tx in freaking MARCH. LOL! Been getting 100 for weeks now and it's only early June. :)

  • that looks like it would be very hard to do :p

  • To - @TheMrbigOne1

    You would be correct!!

  • do you actually shave your pits kevin?

  • To - @EatmyDust1311

    No.

So you watch a video about an RC truck and ask about the guys arm pit hairs, weird dude, weird.

  • @rcWizzard yes you do @ 2:06. odd question, but i had to know. so how are the tires holding up then?

  • To - @EatmyDust1311

    They're hidden in the shadow.

Why do you "have to know" ?

Man that's just weird, good bye.

  • @EatmyDust1311 It would matter what someone shaves how?

  • @TroutButter i was just making an observation LOLZ IDGAF what he does except for the grave digger

  • 2:30 you know you can just buy tire like that .....

  • To - @RustyCanadien

    Where??

  • @rcWizzard i dont know .... im not expert i just know u can buy some one .... i think, im not sure

  • To - @RustyCanadien

Trust me, I looked high and low before doing all that work!! Carlisle used to make a Lug tire that would fit these wheels, but no longer do.

  • @rcWizzard I think that tire you do. Isin't it something like gokart tire??

  • To - @diufak1

It's a front tire from a Craftsman lawn tractor.

  • are you keeping this or giving it to the grave digger team??..

Because every video you talk about the grave digger team and i was guesing that you know the grave digger team verry well.

Just wondering. Good job so far though :)

  • To - @redstarskater

    Yes, I'm keeping it.

The Digger team does my Aluminum welding for me.

  • How about a tire grooving tool.Like used on dirt track cars.

  • Wouldn't just doing burnouts be more fun, and also faster? Although you risk blowing the tire in the process

  • To - @bstrickler

    With what? They're Front wheels/tires.

  • Comment removed

  • Dude, find a landscaper with some worn out tires!

  • To - @spdyocf

    Way to big!!

  • how much did this thing run you minus the conely v8 engine? id like to know if you have prints for the chasis/suspension system.

  • To - @KeithWasHere1

    Around 4k.

The plans/drawings are mix of Windows Paint drawings and hand written notes.

  • You could also have used cart tires, the fit too

  • To - @MadTilMan

Nope, both Tires And wheels are to small.

  • Way didn't you use a flex? wich the right Adapter it would maybe have worked ;)

  • To - @MadTilMan

    What's a flex?

    Check out part 15.

  • @rcWizzard sry man i don't know the english word for it.. i did not watch all parts when i wrote it. you uploaded the last video 2 month ago what happened with the project?

  • To - @MadTilMan

    Still working on it.

  • wot a geek, your ment to burn rubber not sand the bloody thing.i dont think there will be many people sanding there tires down to make slicks.just drive!!

  • To - @hooch330

    Check out part 15.

Can't drive it til I get the tires done.

  • wow dude great job.

  • Do you even drive the fricken thing

  • To - @mantoman991

Not drivable yet, But, that is the plan!!

  • You know they do sell slicks for that rim and also chevron lug tires just like a monster truck has on it so instead of wasting time making a slick from that tire and having little to no rubber left you could just get new tires that would last a very long time on that truck or even any coice of atv tire

  • To - @crfsikness

The slicks were to small, and the lug tires are no longer made.

ATV tires would not work either.

  • wow fuck that shit.....id attach it to a motor and use a belt sander

  • wtf has everyone got with him or anyone not wearing a shirt ? i walk around all the time without one on .. must be a American thing ? in scotland its not a big deal not to wear a shirt..... lmao or maybe thats a scotland thing :D

  • You really shouldn't go through all of that work, but if you are going to, make a jig for the sander so you can do a perfect job on them..

  • To - @thisux7x7

    Check out part 15.

  • nice why not use a tire groover instead of super glue

  • To - @DcrawFBM

Tires do not have enough rubber.

  • @rcWizard

    oh alright

  • To - @anmlmutha

    Dude, that's sick!

  • Man this is very very very cool. lovin it :P

  • nice

  • It's a easy way BURN OUT THE TIRES!!

  • dude ummm...i dont know how to tell ya this...but they make atv tires that same size that look like enough like monster truck tires you wouldnt have to do any sanding....and 85 in july?? thats a coolfront man lol...its usually 100 to 115 here in texas in july...beautiful truck though man...great job

  • To - @webwolf61

Never seen an ATV with a 6" dia wheel and tires that look like a Monster Truck.

    Thanks man.

  • WOW...And I though I liked to tinker.

  • why r u not wearing a shirt????

  • To - @powellmill

To attract the Women to my channel.

  • dude this guy is kool in all but i dont think our names r u youtubes and shut the fucking birds up before i come to your house and shooot them

  • Putt hem on a 4-wheeler and burn them off.

  • To - @TheNoisePolluter

To small to fit on an ATV's hub.

  • Wow nice job on the truck

  • your new driver is more patient than the previous one that went running with max-d , he can wait to drive can't he ? lol

  • Yikes! that looks seriously time consuming!

  • about how heavy is it going to weigh? and what kind of gear ratios?

  • To - @bumpstickc6

    80 to 90 lbs.

Current ratio is 12 to 1. But I hope to get 24 or 36 to 1 with additional gearing.

  • why wouldnt you make boggers instead of slicks on a monster truck?! does this make any since at all? just hot knife those tires and dont glue any thing on dur dah dur

  • To - @Andymann02

    Rubber is not thick enough.

    Check out part 15.

  • @rcWizzard I would just think that it looks like this trucks gonna be nasty and have tonnnnns of torque and that superglued on tread wouldnt last to long, I know you said your buddy did it, I myself just feel leery towards it

  • this is sweet how did ya make it

  • To - @pspman301

    Check out my other videos.

  • @rcWizzard ok

  • could have got a hot knife

  • To - @creed8330

I have one, a tire groover, I liked this way better.

  • All that work to ruin a tire.. Why not just put it in a lathe? Or get tires that were tractor pattern in the first place? Yes they exist.

  • To - @KapteinOpel

In the First place, I don't have a lathe big enough.

In the Second place, I don't want Tractor pattern tires.

So do you know where I can find existing 1/4 Scale Monster Truck tires??

  • @rcWizzard Are we talking about the same thing here? You made them into what I call "tractor pattern" as I saw on your other video.. Tires unlimited have 6 inch tires with a pattern like that.(13x5.00-6) Idk what dimension your lawn tractor tires are, but I'm pretty sure you can get them with that pattern if you look in the right places.

  • To - @KapteinOpel

No, I did not make Tractor tires, these are Monster Truck Tires tires. Did you see video part 15?

13x5-6 tires are To Small. You're Assuming I did not research before doing all this work!!

  • @rcWizzard And if you made that axle, I'd say you shouldnt have any problems producing a lathe big enough to hold those tires either... Looks like it would be less work than shaving them manually like that... ;)

  • To - @KapteinOpel

You said "producing a lathe big enough to hold those tires" are you saying Make a Lathe, Dude you're Nuts. I'm a hobby machinist with a 3 In-one Smithy Metal-Lathe. Something tells me you've never built anything from Scratch!

  • @rcWizzard No I never built anything like that.. But you made that frame and axle, so I assumed you could.. well, never mind. Yes I saw video 15. Those tires closely resemble "Carlisle AT101" so called "bar lug" tires available from smalltires (dot c.) They also have bald tires in 4,5,6,8,and 10" dimensions. Im not assuming you didnt research, but you know theres something called luck. I was only trying to help, sorry if I offended you.

  • To - @KapteinOpel

If a tire did exist, then I would have "ruined" these. Thanks for the link. I have seen those tires but they're to small and especially to narrow. And the bald ones were 16+ lbs each before gluing the tread on. Carlisle does make, or did make rather, a 15x6.50-6 Super Lug ll tires but are no longer produced. I keep searching on e-Bay but have not had any,,,,,,,, luck yet. :-)

    Thanks man!

  • @rcWizzard Youre welcome :) Too bad its not 8 inch tires, they certainly come in fat dimensions. Smalltires had rims also, but then again they will probably not fit to scale.. Maybe you could ask some manufacturer if they, if possible could take out some tires from the production before the tread is put on. If not I have an idea: Make a rig resembling a lathe for wood, instead of the tool support put on a c-shaped knife with the profile you want. Just a proposal, all that work looks horrible. :)

  • To - @KapteinOpel

Your proposal would mean starting over again with the tires. They're done.

I'll keep looking on e-Bay though.

  • dude ur retarded monter trucks dont have slicks thats what u just made u r tard

  • To - @1994gmctruck

I believe You deserve the title of "retard" which means slow. You have not yet seen my other videos. Check out part 15, dude!

  • @1994gmctruck you cant make this even if you tried

  • thats huge. i thought it was pretty small but you stood next to it and damn!

  • the real grave digger is an 4 wd why not yours ?ß

  • To - @24omw

Before I spend 100 to 150 hours designing/fabricating a new axle I want to make sure my gearing works good.

  • To be continued, funny, it's so cool how you got the real guy to weld those tubes, ps nice skeleton

  • ale zj eba ny typ ! ! !

  • To - @Fazownik123

    English dude, English!

  • sure, it will sand... but will it blend? :)

  • Wow, beautiful job!!

  • what are you going to use this for after its done

  • To - @MAGAHOTTSHOT

I'm going to use it to have Fun!!

  • Yes I saw the comparison, really to bad you could not get a tire in the size you wanted and had to go through all this work to create it. Great job on the build though.

  • Couldn't you have used a tire from a "Go Kart" They are smooth with no tread. I am not an expert but just watching made me think of GoKart tire.

  • To - @lloydosmondjr

    Go-kart tires are to small.

Check out part 14, near the end shows a go-kart tire to compare.

  • that thing is bad azz but... you prolly could used a hand grinder to take all the tread off at once

  • @TheCottonb

    Thanks.

Grinder has to small of contact area, easy to grind thru the tire.

  • were can u find servo that big .

  • @shanyonthetwin

From GWS, GWS-S777. With 583 in oz of torque.

  • Ooooorrr...you could burn em out on your tractor mwuhahahah D=:D!

  • @kidthing1119

    These are front tires.

  • @rcWizzard your not going to create the same tires for the back? and you can always switch em out :D

  • @kidthing1119

Yes, I am. Check out part 15.

  • I hope you realize after a few rips with that thing, your gonna have to replace the tires. Its just a little known fact that tires is always an issue when it comes to wear and tear.

  • @Infernostar18

    Oh you think!

    Can wait to find out!

  • why would u do that

  • @tytogononttt

    Check out my other videos.

  • @rcWizzard i'm talking about the wheels

  • @tytogononttt

Why would I do what to the wheels.

  • Comment removed

  • i hope its 4wd in the end when your done PS i saw part 12 - 19

  • use a flex !

  • @kondziaaa123

    What's a flex?

    Did you see part 15?

  • @rcWizzard .... i love you dude.

  • Too much "American time"~

  • i wouldnt spend all my time on the tires like that

  • @siecko1997

Oh well, I guess you're not as dedicated and determined as I am!!

  • @rcWizzard dude u can crawl in the cage!

  • @rcWizzard the cutting process must'have been fun i like cutting things lol

  • Искам да го видя в ход !
