One of the main developers behind Diablo-III left Blizzard a few days ago. Rumor has it that he got tired of Blizzard putting of the release date even tho the game is ready to be released. Apparently Blizzard felt it just wasn't the time to release it due to SWTOR taking so much attention and they didn't want to release it as ordinary as in early 2012.
So they decided they wanted to make a huge summer gameblockbuster and the developer opposed this and resigned.
Everyone want to have Diablo 3.No one knows Diablo 3 release date,that is sure,but if you want to get one of 500 free CD-s with Diablo 3,when game release .

@chardmb None of the Diablo games have been massively multiplayer. There will be an auction house for the entire community of players, but it's meant to be a more "intimate" adventure for soloists or small groups. I've got about eight people ready to go, so even with a 4 person limit, we should always have some sort of action going in the evenings ;)
@Eatfoody That's the way Diablo has basically looked since the first game... what 15 years ago? They didn't steal from LotR. The opposite might be true ;)
I've been watching Diablo 3 And WOW gameplay. I've seen a lot of people saying that the games both look similair to each other. Generally speaking, I have to disagree with them. Yes, they do look ever so slightly similair to each other, but they are easily distinguishable. However, I do have to agree with people when they say the game doesn't feel as "dark" or "scary" as the last two. I mean, the outdoor areas almost look... "happy." As far as the dungeons go, they need to have more static gore.
@BigFreakingCacodemon Remember that early in the Diablo games both are a lot less dark than later in the same game. We've "seen" only 30% or so of Act-1.
Also I was thinking about how much WoW borrowed from Diablo. Remember which came first - talent trees and sets and gemming (call it 'enchanting') all came from Diablo lore. It's been gone for so long and changed the landscape so much - glad it is returning soon!
@skubischta Yeah, you raise a very good point. Except, in my opinion, as soon as you stepped into the dungeon in Diablo I, it was a pretty dark atmosphere. But I never considered that they were only showing act I in these videos!

Trailer? Why do people keep saying that this is a boring "trailer", when it obviously is a teaser? A trailer is something you show when the game/movie is nearly finished, and is a last taste of the final product, a teaser is, yearh, to tease people about the upcoming release, and give the audience alot of suspicion about the plot of the game/movie, so stfu if you don't know the difference between a teaser, and a trailer..
Reminds me too much of lords of the rings...the whole Mordor marching on Minas Tirith deal. Pretty unoriginal, just like everything else Blizzards seems to do.
@ImperialLegionTV It's only because Blizzard North no longer exists, the team that did the epic Diablo I and II is gone. And with Blizz fucking all lore over in WoW, and ruining StarCraft, I don't have hope for D3.
Most of Blizzard North went to make Torchlight, which ironically is a very childish version of Diablo. Blizzard seems to be messing with the lore a lot, but I'm confident in Diablo III's gameplay at least being fantastic.

@CanadianREPsince93 They've only ever said that they hoped it would be out by the end of 2012 and that's as specific as Blizzard have been. Any specific date you've seen is just others having a stab in the dark or educated guess, usually online retailers to encourage pre-orders.

I mean think about it, the whole auction house and market where players can buy equipment with real money. WTF!? and Belial, Lord of Lies has taken over Hell. But what of Diablo, Mephisto, and Baal the prime evils in which you kill in Diablo 2? One of the questions stumped the developers greatly during the Q&A panels in blizzcon 2011. The question was : "Because you havnt taken or destroyed the stones of Andariel and Duriel, could we see them returning? " in which the developers said no answer. Could we see a rise in lesser evils!?
I have to be honest this trailer is shitty. As a wow player I have been seeing amazing trailers. Especially wrath trailer. Same expectation follows to this game since it is from blizz but this trailer is just shitty not to mention the stressful annoying moaning sound in the background.
Leah is the daughter of the wanderer from diablo 2 and the witch Adria from diablo 1. Being that the wanderer was King leoric's oldest son, that lineage seems the easiest for Diablo to possess, and Leah becomes the next "vessell" for diablo. My theory is that she allows him to possess her because once the player kills Azmodan and Belial, Heaven will try destroying sanctuary and she will feel its the only way to protect her loved ones.

@RelentlessProtektion I hate Wow more then anything else, but this is gonna do horrible. There's no single player, auction house is REAL money, only 4 classes, weapons all look very similar (diablo 3's web-sight has the weapons that would be included in the game) and blizzard only is releasing the beta to certain people and contest winner :P
1) The auction house is OPTIONAL, if you don't want to use it then don't, it's that simple. You can use gold instead of money. Also, if you actually knew what you were talking about, then you would know that you get a number free auction posts per week, and these sold items can deposit into an e-account.
2) There are 5 classes...
3) Weapon appearance (all items actually) are pretty varied.

This video is awesome, it's a subtle presentation of the four acts, with an enigmatic introduction for each. Leah is the narrator, and there are a few hints that she holds Diablo within her. I didn't see any of this when it came out, and I might be mistaken, but it is a pretty cool video none the less.

May not seem so, but diablo lost that gothic epicness of the former times with this game. Even the latest LoD was overfilled with crapy options making it more playable but losing the tension, the fear, the atmosphere. started playing Diablo 1 when i was in year 4 or 5. Then D2 got me thoroughly addicted, which sucked a lot cos it dragged my grades down. Now I'm about to graduate from uni and D3 is still not out yet......gosh..
you cannot play Diablo 3 without an internet connection you must ALWAYS be connected to server, so what if you have a crapy internet connection? what if you dont have internet? what if you have a laptop and the wifi card isnt working? what if you only have so much downlode speed at one time?

The trailer and reveals so far have been interesting and have enough hold for me to order the CE ( which i have). Sure i love what D1 and D2 had but i do not have a game built directly for nostalgia. This is why many games that barely add much to change or to even try to get outside of the box, hold little to no interest for myself.

So apparently the last two remaining lesser evils Azmodan, Lord of Sin
and Belial, Lord of Lies has taken over Hell. But what of Diablo, Mephisto, and Baal the prime evils in which you kill in Diablo 2? One of the questions stumped the developers greatly during the Q&A panels in blizzcon 2011. The question was : "Because you havnt taken or destroyed the stones of Andariel and Duriel, could we see them returning? " in which the developers said no answer. Could we see a rise in lesser evils!?

I have to be honest this trailer is shitty. As a wow player I have been seeing amazing trailers. Especially wrath trailer. Same expectation follows to this game since it is from blizz but this trailer is just shitty not to mention the stressful annoying moaning sound in the background.

Leah is the daughter of the wanderer from diablo 2 and the witch Adria from diablo 1. Being that the wanderer was King leoric's oldest son, that lineage seems the easiest for Diablo to possess, and Leah becomes the next "vessell" for diablo. My theory is that she allows him to possess her because once the player kills Azmodan and Belial, Heaven will try destroying sanctuary and she will feel its the only way to protect her loved ones.

@RelentlessProtektion I hate Wow more then anything else, but this is gonna do horrible. There's no single player, auction house is REAL money, only 4 classes, weapons all look very similar (diablo 3's web-sight has the weapons that would be included in the game) and blizzard only is releasing the beta to certain people and contest winner :P

@theguitardude83 So much of this is wrong.
1) The auction house is OPTIONAL, if you don't want to use it then don't, it's that simple. You can use gold instead of money. Also, if you actually knew what you were talking about, then you would know that you get a number free auction posts per week, and these sold items can deposit into an e-account.
2) There are 5 classes...
3) Weapon appearance (all items actually) are pretty varied.
None of what you said is true, and you're fucking retarded.

@Bronx1875 That's not correct. He was talking about Real Money Auction House. Normally it costs some amount of real money to sell something in Real Money Auction House. But as thecaptain293 said few times in a week you can sell items in Real Money Auction House for free. That's what thecaptain293 tried to expain for theguitardude83.

This video is awesome, it's a subtle presentation of the four acts, with an enigmatic introduction for each. Leah is the narrator, and there are a few hints that she holds Diablo within her. I didn't see any of this when it came out, and I might be mistaken, but it is a pretty cool video none the less.

WoW employees are working on this game, and the makers of Diablo left a long time ago and are making Torchlight 2.

May not seem so, but diablo lost that gothic epicness of the former times with this game. Even the latest LoD was overfilled with crapy options making it more playable but losing the tension, the fear, the atmosphere. It's great much more info about the world is widely known but compared to other products? Yeah, only nostalgia can sell this game. I guess we who admire D1 as masterpiece should take a book of ul diomed and enjoy own nostalgia there.

you cannot play Diablo 3 without an internet connection you must ALWAYS be connected to server, so what if you have a crapy internet connection? what if you dont have internet? what if you have a laptop and the wifi card isnt working? what if you only have so much downlode speed at one time?

@DathanielTDK Those who are wise and knowledgeable will withhold their tongue unless something worthwhile is need saying. I personally am excited for this! The trailer and reveals so far have been interesting and have enough hold for me to order the CE ( which i have). Sure i love what D1 and D2 had but i do not have a game built directly for nostalgia. This is why many games that barely add much to change or to even try to get outside of the box, hold little to no interest for myself.
