  • The Tornado was like : I'M DOIN IT I'M DOIN IT I'M.........dam.

  • yeah that isnt a tornado

  • V oops i mean straw, not stray

  • wtf, why is a stray in front of the tornado?

  • did the tornado happen?

  • @zapix12

Yes....at 1:15 into the video, you can see the water where it touches down

  • poor fail tornado no way u sould be happy you werent there =D

  • erectile dysfunction LOL :D

  • Poor fail tornado...

  • oh crap chuck norris is about to kick someone

  • @Ishallnailya hes the only one who can kick someone on the back of the face ^.^ - credit to my friend matt :)

  • fail

  • That tornado fails!

  • Tornado fail!!

  • Tornado is thinking "Let me touch the ground so i can kill the shit out of everyone!"

  • Tornado or waterspout or both. Definetly a waterspout at the 1:08 to 1:16 area in the video. I can see the rotation of mist on the lake. It may have gone on land too which would make it a tornado. Tornadoes can be totally invisible or partially invisible. I have seen several videos of the condensation funnel disappearing and people think it has lifted off the ground, but it's still on the ground. This is one thing that even deceives storm chasers and spotters alike. Good video and spot on this.

  • ITS A CONSTAPADED TORNADO XD!

  • rofl

  • FAIL nice try tonrado

  • yea its a tornado

  • That is an official tornado as of 1:15. The funnel has contacted the ground. It is hard to see, but a chaser's trained eye can spot it...sure as the dickens. Look for a misty area at ground / water level (whatever that surface is) below and to the left of the funnel. It has definitely made a connection. Tornado! Nice capture. Where was this? What year? Thanks, Joel

  • Thanks! I've always wondered if I really got a good shot. This was taken from my top deck in April '07 on Lake LBJ in the Hill Country of Texas. The misty area is on the other side of a narrow peninsula near the end of the lake by the town of Horseshoe Bay. We live up the hill about a quarter mile away-or less...yikes! Lake LBJ is one of a chain of 7 lakes on the Colorado river (texas colorado) leading into downtown Austin. LBJ is 1 hour NW of Austin, or 1 1/2 hrs due north of San Antonio.

  • yupp i saw it!! :)

  • I just took another hard look at this vid, and in my humble opinion...this funnel became an actual tornado at 1:09 or 1:10.

I'm really curious....does this area of Texas tend to get many tornadoes...or tornadic storms? I know they don't happen too much around Austin (aside from that Jarrell nader years ago) or San Antonio for that matter. But you say this lake is an hour and a half north of there...sometimes this can be the difference between being in tornado territory or not. Thanks......joel

  • was it hot that day

  • is that really a tornado or a large cloud?

  • that thing needs some viagra to help

  • lololololoolol rolflmao

  • dued if ur a stormchaser (like i want to be when i grow up ) u can stary thaere

  • I'm not a storm chaser, just a storm admirer. This video was taken a couple of years ago from the upper deck of my home in Texas. That's Lake LBJ in the background about an hour W/NW of Austin I wish you luck on your storm chasing career!

  • I want to be a storm chaser too, but if I had the experience you had here right now, I'd be just as happy. Tornadoes truly are the most beautiful, yet destructive force on this planet.

  • ok honestly if there wsa a tornado forming i wouldnt be standing there...id be in a very safe place until it was gone :) cool video though

  • I think most people would've been in a safe place shatting their pants.

  • Id be doing what this guy was doing whilst craping my pants.

  • lol!

  • whats that white pole ? lol flag on top of it?

  • Good that it didn't touch down.

  • It actually did touch down. You can see the water spinning. But it was very weak.

  • It's really hard to see that.

  • that was one massive supercell. cool stuff

  • Oh, there it is! The white pole in front of him lol!

  • lol

  • waaaaaaaah its sucking me up noooooooooo

  • and mom sayss: Byee play nice

  • where is it??

  • Learn reading the description: "This was trying to form over Horseshoe bay, Tx during a scary storm"...

  • You should know by now people don't read descriptions before asking questions on videos..hahah.

  • Lol xD

  • This is not a normal rain cloud. You can se the water gets "Whipped" up under the "Tornado"

You can se the rotatings too.

    Nice footage ;)

  • awesome!!

  • Nice footage

  • wow amazing video!!!! thats eorfect, u can see everything....awesome!!!!!!

  • Let's hope it didn't form cause I don't like to hear about people getting hurt.

  • nice...can clearly see the wallcloud and the funnel at last

  • wow this happened in Vancouver. Canada. The rainy place with all the mountains. It was scary, cause it was just outside my house, but it never touched down. was weird cause I live half way up a mountain

  • it is a funnel cloud

  • spooky nice vid

  • there is nothing... it's just.. a normal rain cloud...

  • Don't listen to mooks like 1GRAW1, this video is nice. Was there a confirmed touchdown with this storm? Kinda looks like the funnel cloud touches the ground for a moment near the end of the video.

  • datz freaky
