Amazing song from an amazing singer, Talented as a kid Mashallah. I love her singing. May it be ghazal, a folk song or a kaafi.

this would be wonderful if it could be dated. what a discovery. Which year as Abida born? I think she said 1954 -- or something like that. In that case, the picture quality doesn't match. Even if it was 1964, there is no format so clear at that time. It would have been shot on film, and the grain would've been visible. Check other footage from 50s and 60s if you don't believe me. I would like it to be Abida Parveen, I really would but let's have a date please and source.

It is definately Abida Jee. You can hear it clearly in her voice and style of singing. Beautiful singing and what an innocent face, she has not changed much.

If you look at the grown up Abida Parveen, you will find the same defective tooth as the young Abida Parveen. This proves her to be authentic Abida Parveen herself. Stop controversay about a great artist.
