Just wondering, how would this guitar sound if its customized to a Dave Murray sig. strat i.e dimarzio super distortion in the humbucker position and a dimarzio pro track in the neck position

@TerrorBlade84 It would sound like a Dave Murray sig strat DUM DUM. 95 % of the difference between the sound of different strats are the pickups! Anyone that tells you it's the wood is stupid and highly suggestible.

@bbnatedogg I know, these knobs in guitar stores that say the rosewood neck gives it loads of sustain lol makes my piss boil, wood does not effect the magnets what so ever, U could have any kind of wood it would make not a blind bit of difference, only metal effects the magnets in the pickups, that's why a bigsby bridge can effect the tone, when the whammy hovers over the pickup and creating some pull magnetic, will change the tone, that's about it tho

Ive got one of these, they have a very fast neck and you can get a really nice classic strat tone with the neck and middle pickups, but that humbucker really adds to the overall versatility of this guitar :)

Materialistic? You can not beat the price on these Special strats. There is no guitar in price range that compare tone & feel. I absolutely love the C neck & rosewood on my HSS. It produces clear warm tone, think SRV blues to jazz. Bucker handles gain.  My comment was geared toward the concept of image & meant in harmless sarcastic fun. I didn't anticipate a sensitive response, just dont understand why image is equal to music. It is a shame what has become of the music industry really.

@frustratedemo11 nope. the hss models all come with rosewood fretboards. the 3 single coil strats all come with maple fretboards. the only color i like on the american special is the black on black in the hss model, but i wish to goodness they would allow some mixing and matching options.

Squir ist ein Billig Nachbau von Fender. Mit ner 120 € Klampfe wird keiner Freude haben! Die sind einfach nur schlecht verarbeitet! Finger weg von Fender Kopien! Ich hatte selber ne Squir für 150 €. Das war meine erste E-Gitarre. Nach der ersten Unterrichtsstunde musste sie schon in die Reparatur. Am besten immer das Original kaufen! Auch wenns teurer wird!

Also ganz kann ich ned zustimmen, kumpel von mir hat ne Squier Strat und die funktioniert seit Jahren ohne Tadel dagegen hater sich ne Carvin gekauft für 1500 die nach 2-3 Wochen im Arsch war.

Außerdem können sie die wenigsten Anfänger ne Fender oder Gibson leisten.. und dass ist auch vollkommen sinnlos weil die ja nicht unbedingt professionell spielen wollen sondern nur 2 Jahre rumzupfen.

Zum Thema: Muss es ne 1000€ Gitte + AC30 für den Anfänger sein.

Ich seh das so: Jedem wie es ihm gefällt / der Geldbeutel mitspielt.

Aus eigener Erfahrung kann ich sagen, dass man im Preisbereich um

300 € von Squier oder Ibanez verdammt viel Gitarre bekommt.

Wer etwas amitionierter ist und eben nicht "nur rumzupft" stößt so oder so

irgendwann an die Grenzen von billigem Equip - und weis dann genau(er) in welche Richtung er gehen will.

Natürlich ist eine 150 € Gitarre schlechter verarbeitet, aber eine teurere Squier ist dies dann ja nicht mehr. Es muss nicht immer gleich "eine Orginal" sein, es muss "nur" eine gute Gitarre sein. Ob da dann Epiphone oder Gibson, bzw Fender, Fender Mexico oder Squiere drauf steht, ist erstmal so nicht wichtig, wenn es rein um die Verarbeitung geht. Die streut immer in den verschiedenen Preiskategorien. Bei jedem Hersteller!

@Harry13091983 naja da hast du wohl eher pech gehabt, squir ist nicht einfach n fender nachbau, squir ist ne fender tochter firma. klar kommste nicht an ne 70ths strat von fender ran, aber für den preis sind squir besonders für anfänger echt empfehlenswert.

@master1sa Ok! Ich würde mir auch keine Gibson, Fender oder ESP für 2500 € am Anfang kaufen! Aber durch meine Erfahrung, welche auch nur Zufall sein kann, sage ich mir, dass ich mir nie wieder eine Fender bzw. Squir zulege!

@pennywise0507 Ich will damit nur sagen, dass man lieber zum Original als zum Nachbau greifen soll. Das gilt auch für ESP/LTD und Gibson/Epiphone. Vielleicht habe ich auch nur Pech mit meiner Squir gehabt.

@Harry13091983 es gibt ltd's die besser sind als esps, und ein kollege hat nur probleme mit seiner gibson, während seine epi noch nie ein problem hatte (in 4 jahren. bei der gibson studio ist nach 3 wochen der toggle ausgestiegen :/ )

Es sind keine Fender Kopien, es sind Fender Einsteigergitarren. Lizensiert von Fender. Und die Qualität ist besser als bei so mancher MIM Fender. Wenn man die Elektronik austauscht hat man eine sehr brauchbare Gitarre. Habe selber eine MIC Squier Strat. Und einmal richtig eingestellt ist das Ding für Einsteiger wirkich brauchbar und mit ein bisschen Arbeit auch als Backup sehr gut zu benutzen. Hat nicht jeder gleich 800€ für eine "echte" Fender.

@Harry13091983 Also ich will hier keinen verletzen, aber: Fender Squier kann sehr wohl qualitativ gute Gitarren herstellen. Was stimmt ist, das deine Gitarre wohl nicht so gut verarbeitet war, keine Frage. Jedoch kann man jetzt nicht einfach so Squier nur wegen der einen schlechten Erfahrung pauschalisieren. Ich meine nur folgendes: Sowohl bei Marken als auch bei "Billig Marken" gibt es in meinen Augen die 50:50 Regel für gute oder schlechte Verarbeitung. Das ist bei jeder Gitarre so.

Das was du da schreibst ist schwachsinn. Ich selber habe auch eine Squier by Fender und vom Sound her ist die echt Mega geil. Klar kommt sie an meine HSS Strat nicht dran aber für meine Squier die nur 129€ gekostet hat is der Sound richtig fett und gerade am Anfang hat sie sehr viel spass gemacht auch wenn ich jetzt nach 11 Jahren mittlerweile nur meine HSS Strat spiele.
