I miss playing Spore... :( I had it, it kept crashing so I reinstalled and it stopped working completely... I LOVED terraforming planets and just admiring the beauty <3

To terraform, first you need to unlock the terraforming tools. then you select one from the bottom-right corner, and click on the planet surface.

So you can kill planets but if you kill one and come back ages later will ya find new just-evolving species?

Nah. Unless the atmosphere is unstable, it'll stay the same until you change it again. I'm sure they will change it in an expansion or something.

Though after a while, species will evolve into tribes and civilizations.

Will Terraforming a Grox Planet your successfully bribed kill off it's colonies/citizens? :?

I think it only kills off grox. Because if you bribe them, they all turn into your species. In my case, they would turn into Calamari (the red guys)

So um, could you possibly, I dont know, go over to a Grox planet and turn it into molten lava? Like terraform it into nothing but a Giant volcano?

Yes.

You can go over to any planet and turn it into anything. Ice, water, lava, rock planet etc.

Purple spice, yellow spice, green spice, red spice?

How many types of spice is there, and which is the most valuable?

Yellow

blue

green

pink

purple.

That is in order from most common to least common and expensive. But red spice can be over 10k each on some planets if you sell it to the right person.

I do have allies. What I did when I started was I made allies with everyone I saw. When I became powerful enough, I betrayed the ones who were either weak or too annoying and took over their star systems easily. Oh and until I have the planet buster and such, I'm not even trying to encounter the grox. I just stay in my little area of the galaxy until I have all my badges.

Just try to explore a bit more if you're running out of good spice. im runnin out of space, message me if you need more help.

Well once you get weapons like the good missile launcher, bombs, and some other good weapons, then just go get some allies (you can support allied ships if you get badges) and you just fly to one of their planets and fly up to their city and bomb the hell out of it until you can capture it or destroy it. Also you can tell your allies to attack enemies to distract them and you can also help your allies in battle for an easier conquest.

Yeah just use the bomb. It can upgrade to the justa bomb and the mega bomb. I use the justa bomb currently. Just get up close to a citadel and bomb the hell out of it.

Yeah. I think you have to make it a really thick atmosphere as well as really hot to do that.

I hope that configuration isn't how you left you cities. You know it's better to have a factory/ Fun house connected to the town hall highest ive managed to get without makeing them unhappy is 134/hr.

I don't really mind about the configuration as long as I get some spice.

Is there a reason to wait until T1 to place a colony? I mean, if you do it before terraforming, the colony gets a force field...

Well you can put down a colony in T0 but it doesn't give you any spice or buildings. I just put it down in T1 so I could build buildings at the same time I planted it.
