Anyway this video is great - I've never seen this band before so I can't judge it just like that - but my first impressions are great ... as for Eric Adams - the best damn metal vocalist in the world - no doubt...5.5 OCTAVES PEOPLE !

Hmmm..Lloyd Webber's "Phantom of the Opera", is not a classic opera. It is a musical. It is true that the role was written for Sarah Brightman, but it doesn't necessarily need an operatic soprano.

How can people really believe that Manowar had no musical training? It is plain to see (and hear) that Eric is a trained singer. He has a natural gift, but that is not enough to reach such incredible results.

Actually you've all got it wrong - EVERY neo-classical metal player (Yngwie, Impelliteri, MacApline) is imitating Baroque style (Paganini, Bach and Mozart) modes and scales. Yngwie is a confirmed Bach and Nicolo Paganini freak. If you hear Paganini's 24 Caprices you'll Yngwie's influences loud and clear.
