  • I have both cories and tigers, do you not find it difficult to feed the corys with the tiger barbs around?

  • And fish..

  • Ive seen this b4 lol my tank is the same size same plants same gravel lol?!

  • Nice setup!

  • Like this setup! Very colorful! Thumbs up.

  • Nice setup

Check out my new tiger barbs

    Tiger barbs 24 gallon

  • nice aquarium dude

  • Did you know that Tiger barbs get MORE aggressive if kept in pair numbers? I also happens if you keep a single Tiger barb by itself. Keep them in groups of 5, 7, 9, etc so they can be healthy.

  • i have a 5 gallon tank and am only a beginner and if anyone has some suggestions for fish to put in it that would be great(side note: i already have a beta in a bowl so i got that covered)

  • @bulloran1965 perfect bettas should have about 5 gallons of room

  • its sad that the world we live in, that nice buddhist is the highest rated comment... well you know what? i hope those fish take a nice big shit all over his head. how bout that thumbs up?

  • Hey i have 20tiger barbs but there"s 2 of them keep fighting i have no clue what their doing so can anyone tells me what is going on?

  • @JoseOJZ Just normal behavior for them. Mine do it all the time. They never hurt each other.

  • @JoseOJZ

Probably an inferior one is challenging a superior one on the pecking order to prove his strength and move up a notch.

  • @JoseOJZ

Tetras and barbs tend to nip on the fins of other fish and can get very semi-aggressive and bully other fish. They are gangster. I have Tiger barbs, Green Tiger barbs and Albino Tiger barbs, and they are mean. They school together and they look cute, but they also bite my gouramis and beta fish. If they see an exposed fin, they'll go for it. One of my Albino Tiger barbs has half of it's tail fin because of the other barbs' fin bitting obsession.

  • @RockUgud

Sorry but bettas really shouldn't be in with tiger barbs... the fin nipping can get so serious that your betta can actually bleed to death. Also what tetras are you refering to? I'm only aware of Serpae, Black widow and occasionaly black phantom tetras being nippy, most other tetras are very peaceful and do fine in community tanks.

  • @KrunchyBiscuit

My Crown Tail Betta is doing great. I have a floating plant and it uses it as his home and it doesn't let other fish come close to it. He is actually is meaner than the Barbs. I tried having a Dbl. Crown tail in my tank but he was so slow that they all picked on him, so I gave it to a friend. This one did fine. The tetras I have are called "Mix fruit Tetras". They come in different colors (ej; blue, pink, purple, green, etc) but they're the same specie and they school together.

  • @RockUgud

Well at least your Betta is doing fine :) and those Tetras sound really fascinating :D

  • whats the minumum size tank for tigerbarbs?

  • Very cute. I really like your tank and I love your fish. Watching it actually made me smile

  • can i keep 2 gouramis (small ones) in a 20L aquarium? if not suggest me some cool fish to keep in a 20L

  • Heyy need your help, i have 20gal 7 tiger barbs and just added 2 cory catfish is this bad or....?

  • Beautiful tank by the way

  • how often you change the water one time, and how much?

  • beautiful tank man

  • nice tank

  • How big is your tank? and how are the tiger barbs treating the cory catfish? Cool tank by the way :)

  • i feed my tiger barbs ham most of the time they love it and they get pretty big from eating it

  • @DistrictCloud how big are urs? and how long have u had dem?

  • Would the barbs attack my mollies :( ive had 3 black (moontail?) molllies since i started my fish tank and id be sad if anything happened to them

  • @Tapil

I don't know for sure. But from what I read, Tiger Barbs can be quite aggressive.

So are Glo-fish. Both can be fin-nippers. Not a good idea to put long fin fish in with them.

  • @Vash6the6Stampede As long as you have six or more of each. They will not bother fish in the tank. Especially if there is a lot of room.

  • Hi, I have 6 corys in my angel tank and they don't do nearly as much swimming around as yours do. I have 3 spotted corys and 3 Juli corys. Do you think that maybe I should get all in one kind? Or what do you think would make them swim around more? Because right now they mostly just sit in the corner of the tank. Please get back to me.

  • @MyFatalTouch

They might be scared of the angel fish.

  • nice!

  • Hey I have a question. I just bought three Julie Cory's yesterday (Feb 14) and i'm not really familiar with corey's but they are swimming around singly and they are not staying at the bottom, instead they are swimming around the mid section and top, and one in particular swims and lands on my plastic plant and just sits there. Can you tell me what's wrong or how to fix this problem? Or maybe even why this is happening?

  • I love your buddhist deco lol nice

  • There is not a Buddha statue in my aquarium. The gold figures to right are Chinese guardian lions, known in the western world as Foo dogs. They are stone lions believed to have powerful mythic protective powers to the Chinese culture.

  • I aslo have the Blue Gravel, but lately I have been thinking about switching to a more natural look. I have a 16 gallon tank containing 2 Red Wags, (babies Mom and Dad Platys died:() 1 Cardinal tetra, One neon tetra, A betta, A bleeding heart tetra, A congo tetra, and a silver tip tetra.

  • @Corvette272 hey, some of the fish u have r schooling fish ( espetaly cardinal and neon and congo tetras need at least 6).... well basicly almost all tetras r schooling fish and u need more than 3-6,

  • my tiger barbs are bullying my cory's i have 2 corys and 4 tiger barbs what should i do?

  • @rolayndah you should buy more tiger barbs they tend not to nip other fish when they are in larger shoals

  • are they getting hurt (I am a fish expert my hobbie and job) how bad what size tank

  • youl need to double your tank size if you want them to be healthy dumbass.

  • lol

  • isnt that tank crowded?

  • what a coincidence i used to have 4 glo lite tetras that i named moe larry curly and shemp

  • Those glofish are Danios, right?

  • Yes they are from the same line of zebra Danios.

  • I have 1 bichir, dinosaur eel, with a school of 10 tiger barbs and they all get along just fine.

  • I have 6 tiger barbs and a dinosuar eel.

I have noticed that as my eel approaches 5 inches, 2 of my 6 tiger barbs has damage done to their tail fins. One had its tail ripped in half, the other looks like its entire tail had gotten in the mouth of the dinosaur eel and "stripped" of alot of the fiber.

Just a warning, while I doubt he can eat them he is trying to. =[

  • your fish are fat!

  • i named one of my tigers spot to cause his whole right side is spoted,

my smallest barb is always away from the rest and facing downward , i have 6 altogether , the 5 school together but the other one is left out, can some1 help??

  • is the single one floating if he didnt swim down?? that happened to my fish too he swallowed air bubbles and he floated but after 8 hours it was gone

  • aha well yesterday the smallest barb got sucked up in to the filter "all my fault" after i was done cleaning it i for got to add the bottom piece so that wouldnt happen, but any way i got the fish out safe and every since i put him back in the tank hes schools with the rest, : ) but at first he just stayed in the corner and had his head down. but know hes fine, i see that alot of people have this probly with just one barb, i think its from bullying and stress. :) thanks again oflam

  • no problem

  • if i have a 20 gallon tank ..how many tiger barbs may i put in it

  • beardielover369

  • your tiger barbs might get aggressive . you should keep them in a larger school. it think its ok to keep them in that tank but it should be cleaned well . I suggest you should get a bigger tank but its ok too.

  • how do you fill the females with eggs? I just left them alone in the tank with the males. what should I do? nice barbs

  • i have 2 goldfishs,`3 baby tiger barbs, and 4 tetras in a 10 gallon tank is that ok?

  • i would suggest get three or four more tigers because they will get territorial if in small groups

and buy the way ...gold fish are very nasty

  • add more I got 10 fish in my 12 GAL :D

  • Beautiful and understocked tank. I would add s'more cories, but it's your desision.

  • can i keep 10 tiger barbs and 3 cory catfish in a 12 1/2g tank, pH 7.5, GPH 110, heavily planted and stable

  • nope too crowded with 10 grown tiger barbs

  • thats just fine

  • cool tank i have glofish too they play a lot when i got them i thought they were fighting.

i want to get 2 zebra danios because there school fish.

looking at your tank like looking at the ocean peaceful. i have blue gravel too your not alone

  • I also have blue gravel i love it

  • looks very nice and peaceful. Hardly see an aquarium with blue gravel and background that looks so good and yours looks great with it.

    I have a 29g tropical tank..come check it out =)

  • would 1 ghost shrimp and a betta be alright in a 2 gallon?

  • yes

  • nice tank, i prefer a more natural look with my fish but with all my other tank living animals (like my reptiles) i go for more artificial so i cant say much lol

  • I think your theme is a very nice theme.

  • in my 10 gallon i have 3 zebra danios, 3 ghost shrimp, 2 female guppies, 1 albino catfish, and 1 emerald green cory catfish. my grandparents gave me their old 10 gallon aquarium yesterday and i am going to get some glofish 1 of each color, 2 african dwarf frogs, and some ballon mollys, idk what else to get :( btw amazing tank!

  • Nice tank!

  • Nice tank. I think the placement of the vase adds creativity to your tank in my opinion.

  • this is a beautiful fish tank keep up the good work and please dont listen to comments by mentaly retarded persons

  • are they coldwater aswell as tropical?

  • My mother once told me that if I couldn't say anything nice not say anything at all. I wish your mother had told you same thing. An aquarium can be natural or ornamental. Mine is ornamental. If you don't like it don't look at my videos and keep your mean comments to yourself!!!

  • I love your aquarium!:D

  • @1howiedfan you tell them. fucken ignorant fucks.. ur tank looks nice how it looks..

  • @1howiedfan This is an ornamental tank! So stop leaving mean comments! I used to have a planted tank but the plants from my cannal poisoned my pleco and 3 guppies D: All my other fish including my albino cory are OK! I'm going to buy another one today to see them school

  • there is nothing wrong with putting clay pots and vases into fish tank! i have one in mine, it gives it a more historic look. i also have plants...

  • dude chill he can do whatever he wants with HIS tank.

  • LMAO

  • @orginelenaam i don't agree with u for some people its just the colorfull fish, for others is watching the fish moving , dudes that own pirhanas and sharks watching the eat otheer stuff , i agree with u i like to keep my tanks looking natural but i don't think there is really "A POINT" to a fish tank

  • @orginelenaam in a fish tank with the corys and glofish (idk about the tiger barbs) they need caves...not plants...the broken vase acts as a cave so it is exactly what they need so u should probably just shove off unless you know what your talking about

  • Nice setup ill post mine soon

  • my tiger barbs are well bigger than that how old r yours?

  • why are glo fishnot for sale in canada?

  • They are...

  • glo fish are like 7.99 ea that alot and dude wut the heck t barbs with glo fish? not good match maybe w/ bala shark

  • are you kidding me? i just got 5 tiger barbs and this wird looking one he's like all green but i got 2 goldfish in there i feed them to my lobster but the tigers and the goldfish are best of friends!

  • lol u had tiger barbs in with gold fish :S

  • barbs have a bad rep but they are good i got 2 glo fish with 1 barb but i have trained her and she isnt agressive plus he has a school of the barbs so they wont touch any other fish

  • i gave away my goldfish to my friend because my tiger barb nips on its fins lol!

  • Woah, BIG tiger barbs!

  • LOL wtf

  • i love my mom and i never wanted to take any chances so...yea

  • mine doesn't glo

  • I have a 10 gallon could i fit 4 barbs in it.

  • Sure, as long as you don't already have any fish.

  • dont forget good filtrtion

  • @1howiedfan I dissagree a 10 gal tank is only big enough for small schooling fish like neons, guppies would work as well... Tiger Barbs need a minimum of 30 gallons to thrive at all... anything smaller and they become rather aggressive... these fish can reach 3".... so think about that... yes you could technically put 4 in a 10 gal... but they will not be happy, how are they supposed to swim... at all

  • Glofish were first created to find enviromental pollutants.now they are pets.its cool how they really Glow.

  • nice looking tank i have had bad luck with tigerbarbs tho they tend to be a bit nippy twoards other slower moving fish i love the glofish tho i have 7 of these in my current tank

  • Yea, they can be nippy. The solution to this problem is keeping them in groups of six or more. That way they are more concerned with chasing each other and tend to leave the other fish alone. I still wouldn't put them in the same tank as long finned fish. It is just too tempting. Thanks for the comment.

    Wanda

  • nice

  • Thanks

  • The perfect substitute for the guy who likes to look at fish, but doesn't want to buy an aquarium.
