  • Twilight is, and always will be one of my favourite U2 tracks.

  • WHERE AND WHAT YEAR MAN? PUT IT IN DISCRIPTION DUDE!

  • the best two U2 albums are "Boy" and "The Unforgettable Fire" with "The Joshua Tree" rounding in at third.

  • Twilight! ben tiens va! j'adore!

  • id say october was the most underrated, but then from joshua tree up people started following them like crazy

  • Esta es una obra maestra, lastima que no la toquen el 360 tour

  • hohner ex Devil guitar is a nice design - love it

  • 2.35. epic fail.

  • Wether you like their music or not they are one of the biggest bands of all time. No doubt about it. I can imagine some people think their music sucks but seeing them continue their 360 tour now with stadiums packed with 80.000 people I guess they're stil doing ok!!

  • @coweir There are definitly people who don't like them. But bands like this are similar to Rush. With such a vast catolouge and such a long career, people who don't like them are just being dicks. Even if your not a musician you HAVE to give some props.

  • U2 at their best I think. The latest stuff is a bit shite I reckon. You have to hand it to them though, loads and loads of top tunes over the years. Larry looks like a fucking eejit now though and Adam looks like an architect from Surrey.

  • U2 TWILIGHT TRIBUTE BAND!!

We are on Myspace and Facebook.

  • I saw these guys in a bar in Gainsville, Florida in 1981. I knew they were going to make it big that night. Everyone in my dorm back at Florida State mocked Bono's voice when they heard my album Boy but now of course claimed that they were always big fans. Who knew?

  • Congratulations, you got an advertisement FAIL!

  • U2 wrote "Miami"

  • @extreme67 LOL.

  • Beautiful Song :) in Heaven Days in the 80s.

  • adam singing is so hot

  • Glory Days

  • /watch?v=DiCDScr2V4g

  • Gawd! Bono looked so sexy here!

  • Great song and gig.. Adam singing is priceless ofcourse. :) is his microphone even connected?

  • Cool footage, to my knowledge they have'nt played this live in at least 20years!

  • I love this movie, Vioku. com has it on HD

  • i am related to bono! haha..

  • how who are u

  • .. haha well im not especially in the mood to tell exactly how but bono's last name is hewson and i am also a direct decesdant of Colonel john hewson.. but im pretty sure my great grandma on my dad's side was a hewson.. i can't remember .. haha but i am

  • can you sing, jillmarie24? who does bono take his singing talents from?

  • haha.. well honestly i never really try to sing.. my sisters can sing though..

  • yeah, me too

I am also related to you, and to elephants and trees

    in a way

  • Boy, October, War, and Unforgetable Fire are by far my favorites cd's from them. I have always been a lover of any bands early work!

  • some people say the album BOY is a tribute to ian curtis why not?

  • the most underrated album ever heard

  • Larry Mullen Jr is the greatest rock drummer of all time.

  • @BLACKMAGICMETALMAN12 For me "October" is the most underrated album ever. "Boy" got tons of critical acclaim when it came out. I wouldn't call it underrated.

  • @Nigelxman To be honest, I'm not big on October. I find Boy doesn't get mentioned at all because majority of U2 fans only care from Unforgettable Fire up, discluding Pop for the most part.

  • @BLACKMAGICMETALMAN12 It amazes me how many people dismiss "October". To me, it's just a much more powerful and spiritually uplifting album than "Boy". It's also more interesting and experimental musically which appeals to me. But as always, music is a completely subjective medium. I loved U2 through The Joshua Tree. After that.... not so much. Then again, for a U2 fan, I'm an old fart. I was 15 when Boy came out. lol Yikes. Doesn't seem like it could have been that long ago!

  • @Nigelxman Hahaha nice. My brother's the biggest U2 nut to ever walk the earth. Some of it brushes over on me, I suppose. I have 824 U2 songs on my iPod alone, majority of them being live bootlegs and such. They're a great band, but I must say they can be pretty bland sometimes. The new album was alright, but after How to Dismantle it was a big let down in my opinion.

  • @BLACKMAGICMETALMAN12 last album only had one or two good tracks the rest were rubbish

  • love this song

  • Awesome video. Edge is beastly as usual. Funny to see backing vocals from Adam.

  • To me boy and Appetite to destruction are the best debut albums ever.

  • cool... they say the older the guitar the better it is.

I wish I had one like that XD

  • holy carpity carp, bad hairdo for bono!

  • yes he has, and he uses that from gig to gig. top class one

  • I wonder if edge still have that guitar until today...

it's a gibson Explorer, the same he uses on beautiful day, miracle drug and others... i wonder if it is the same...

  • it is the same, and he does have it today.... actually, he's auctioning it off for the music rising charity.

  • Not this one. He auctioned one that he had bought in the late 80s, but had still used onstage and in videos.

  • i think this is the best debut album by a rock band...weezer's blue album would be second

  • I don't know how anyone could conceive of Weezer as being anywhere near the stature, depth and passion of the band U2.

But that's the thing about opinions on music.... they're all subjective.

  • good point on music being subjective but i never said it was anywhere near u2. musically and the themes of the 2 albums are very different from other band's debut albums

  • Never said it was anywhere near U2?

"I think this is the best debut album by a rock band...weezer's blue album would be second".

That statement puts Weezer and U2 into a category. You then articulate your preferences within the category of "best debut album" by assigning placement along a numerical scale.

Your english is poor in the comment just below this one, so perhaps you're just unskillful in articulating what you truly mean?

  • I'd say my top ones are Murmur, Boy, and Exile in Guyville...off the top of my head.

  • This was one of the first records I ever bought when I was thirteen, there's nothing to describe the sheer power and awe it had. I do think they've done anything better than Boy. Achtung Baby comes close though.

  • The Joshua Tree is their best album. It's one of the greatest albums of all time.

  • I love the Joshua Tree (Unforgettable Fire even more), but after a live time of U2, I think Achtung Baby is their best. It was just sooo good when it came out, and even with weak spots, it's such a good album.

  • u2's early music was so big, panoramic sounding, it suited the large stadiums that

    they played in

  • just look adam singing shadooooow

  • What a great performance. This is one of the rare concert clips where I hear Bono really belt out the lyrics; I don't know if Bono would be able to sing w/ such a range these days, basically I don't know if he would attempt to sing Twilight now... but thanks to Youtube, we can relive the concerts in the band's youthful years.. great stuff; I disagree that Adam has been a crutch; he plays great bass and looked cool back then playing it.

  • Your words are true..There best work is yet to come...Watch and see.cbono69..or chris..Have you seen the movie???U23d..its in your movies....look in the paper and see it...

  • Do you know when the U23D arrives Europe (Portugal, more exactly) ??

    Thanks

  • u2 was so cool in their early days and still are.

  • U2 makes it right. Thats why I can't listen to any other band actually.

  • TWILIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that was the style bono is cool dont dis him ok!!!!!!!!!!

  • Gosh Bono's hair is crazy.

  • fuck ya! edge stills the best... something tottally powerful like the sound of "Love &Peace Or Else" Or "Electric CO."

  • energic stuff, it's like electric & co, or two hearts beat as one, or even i will follow... the work posted on the first albums is something of value on this band...the causes expressed on the lyrics...is top

  • LOVE THIS SONg!!!!

  • u need ur fuckin head examined if u think he plays flat now. have u even listen to achtung baby, u dickhead

  • To the person who thinks the Edge is flat when he plays u clearly do not know what the **** ur talking about and how can u say that the later albums are crap...have u ever heard Joshua Tree/ Achtung Babay/ Zooropa

  • what the hell happen ! their something wromng with the tape , while i was enjoying the song.

  • quite good song indeed!!

  • The best part here is where he first screams out TWILIGHT.

  • Thanks for posting this. No one has ever rocked the mullet quite like Bono.

  • Good band good song. Bad hair. LOL

  • great video!! fantastic song

  • thanks for this video

  • thankyou so much for this!

  • the studio version of this song is a bit better i guess

  • No it is not! They are rockin' here!

  • I could not hardly stand the studio version of their first two albums. Live is where I leaned to love it.

  • i love this song. wierd hair do's though.

  • great song live check out some of my U2 vids!
