Hand swelling from Hereditary Angioedema attack

curious, how do you know diff between HAE & allergic angioedema? I have phases where I wake up with really swollen eyelids, lips, nose and often, hands that are stiff, red, hot, swollen for up to an hour. never know when & am not allergic (officially tested) to much. ALSO, I have had a 10 lb weight gain, not normal for me, which felt like whole body was full of water- tender stomach, thighs, even upper arms. That happens a LOT, too, not related to PMS. weight magically disappeared tho

wow thats exactly what my hands look like right now after being outside for 2 minutes without gloves. i totally feel your pain :(

why do you have to wear gloves when your outside?

it doesnt matter whether i wear gloves or not, this is what happens when i go out in the cold..
