Yes, unfortunately, Ben died in August 2005, at age 7, after 8 months of intense treatment.
He was diagnosed in January 2005 at age 6 with Stage 1 Burkitts Lymphoma, which has a 93% cure rate. Ben fought with courage, tenacity, and even humor, seeking to embrace life in spite of this vicious cancer.
