  • Somebody had posted the Archie Campbell skit where he's telling

Roy about how he got into a brawl with a fellow on a train.

Anyhow the story kept escalating until Archie admitted the guy he

was fighting was in a wheelchair and won the fight by hitting

Archie over the head with his crutch!

OMG I lol over that 'til I thought I'd have a STROKE!

Wish someone would post that story again but thanks for this.

Archie Campbell was one hilarious guy from the "old school"!

  • hahaha thats funnii

  • A month and a half ago RFD-TV was at long last added to my cable line-up. HEE-HAW airs at 8pm on Sunday nights and it repeats at 10am on Monday mornings. They mostly air the 1969-1970 episodes. I've yet to see any episodes on RFD-TV from the mid to late '70s or any episode from the 1980's or early 1990's. HEE-HAW had over 500 episodes!!!

  • Wonderful, and Faron on top of his game. A one of a kind show, I sure miss Faron Young.

  • hahaha...I never get tired of seeing this routine no matter who he performs it with...in the first or second season of Hee-Haw, Roy Clark was in the barber chair with the "how come?" replies and it was Archie delivering why something was good or bad but on this one Faron's handling that role while Archie's doing "how come?" line. I miss Hee-Haw as well...it airs on RFD-TV and I don't get that network!

I have several of the DVD's...that's better than nothing.

  • i agree

  • Hee Haw and I miss that show! All the country greats were on there.
