anybody know of a movie not sure if it were chinese or japanese where there was tyrant emperor who carried a samurai sword and used it to blind his opponents with its shine.and the guy who stands up to him recruits 6 guys, one guy is a salesman i think who sells a sword that can apparently break any weapon in half, a guy who carries 2 shields as a weapon, and guy who carries 2 spears and some assassin guy who has knives all over him.

Why are they shot.

In this movie Takeda Shingen and his army (red) have difficulties to deal with Kagetora (men dressed in black) so he calls for some reinforcement and these men come from the region called "Suwa" this region was blessed by a great spirit. So these men are supported by drums and miko who make incantation to be helped by the suwa deities.

They are shot by the black bushis in order to discourage them.

Dear Mr M40A3 I give you the signification:

- Young Women using drum are in fact called "Miko" they are young women in Shinto Temple who have to assist the priest, they clean the temple, they have to prepare the cult... I do not know if these kind of young women were present in the battlefield as the movie is not exactly accurate.

- The men carrying the drums are just Bushi (samurai) the term samurai was used later in the history were there were no more war.
