Michael I play by ear and I am too far over the hill to start learning to play by reading the dots. I play a few tunes quite well for someone who has not much experience.
Can you do us a big favour please write down in the title what whistle and the key of the whistle. It would make life easier for this old dog. Your tuition is first class but if the pupils whistle sounds nothing like the masters then life becomes difficult. Thanks in anticipation!!
