Literally watch, I'm sorry it fell apart.... Who are you listening too? It's too bad, percussion rules the orchestra. I got the idea. It is slower. Adujust. Use you're ears. I don' t watch the conductor either.. ha. I like underrated. No, Nothing. Yes thank you too, seee you next time tmmmmmmmm burrriettt boom
Thank you for this video. I have never had the chance to perform in an orchestra. It's videos like this that inspire me to still try to perform in one someday. I agree the xylophone is underrated. I would love to see an unaccompanied xylo solo with no ragtime or excerpt influence. Thanks again!
My two favorite xylo. excerpts would have to be from (1st one and 1.1) Saint-Saen's Dance Macabre (How fitting since it's almost Halloween when I made this post) and/or Fossils from The Carnival of the Animals. My second would be from Sabre Dance by Khachaturian. Always fun to play and brings out the kid in me, lol
I just want to say that you have no idea how nice is those youtube lessons that you have been posted on youtube. I leave in a place in Brazil that we don't have so much access to those things and I have watch all of your videos here ... This have helped me a lot. I am going to make my master degree at USA and I hope can meet you when I get there. I am timpanist at my state orchestra and those tips have helped me a lot.

My favorite xylophone excerpt is definitely a tie between An American in Paris and the Mothergoose Suite.
