He seems to believe that the Constitution gives him the right to force his opinions on society. Here's how it works: he has a strong opinion and he doesn't get the result he wants through the regular legal/governmental channels we all have to use, so he's empowered to take a gun - several guns, actually - and impose his opinion via a "citizens arrest". He now seems genuinely surprised that his fellow citizens on the jury returned a verdict to throw his ass in jail.

We The People need to carry with us a copy of the US Constitution with us at all times and speak out as this man did, quietly and politely, for his rights per said constitution.
