@supersonicprods Heh heh heh, that would make for some very long ambient drones i guess. Careful when submerging your keyboard in to water though, it probably won't like it :D
Hi there. What a brilliant thing to do! I love cats, am a musician/composer and have an SY35 synth. Actually the music is really interesting, you are on the ball with your response to these triggers. Well done from Tez (1212roadie)
Thanks very much, compliments like that are much appreciated! Especially when thay come from fellow composers. I was pleasently suprised with the way it turned out too, I'm sure it could have sounded much worse. Cheers
I know, Its amazing that she comes up with such good arps purely at random. I may have to call on her services in the future when I'm stuck for ideas!
I had to google that to see what it means. I ended up translating a german wiki page, so I figure it means noise music right? Anyway glad you like it and thanks for the comment.
Actually you could do it with some computer software, programs like FL studio accept the computer keyboard as an input for notes and will generate all the sound for you. I just used my keyboards as it looks a bit more interesting. Thanks for he compliment, glad you like it!
Oh man, she's on her last warning already. We keep a brave face on things but her cat-nip problem is way out of control, she couldn't even keep it together for this video, her playing was way off. Not to mention that the rider is full of rodents and fish, she's too much to handle... ; )
The one 'person' to dislike this was your cat because it wasn't aloud to do it on all your other keyboards.

Your cat is sadly more talented than majority of electronic composers!
Sepharite 2 years ago
Heh heh, yeah I'm lucky really as she is classically trained, but like most cats she leans towards atonal music. Strange that.

if you could combine this with a generative ARP pattern that would be even sweeter
tekkentool 2 years ago
Hmm yeah, like if you got something to randomly jab the arp pattern buttons on a microKorg, that'd be do-able some how.

Great idea.

Loving it. Wish I had the stuff to try this out with my cats.
P.S. Part of it sounds like the tune "Vincent De Moor - Flowtation" (find it on youtube). What a talented cat.

Thanks man. I've been trying to get round to having a go at this for ages, I'm quite happy how it turned out.

I couldn't do that with either of my cats. They're big old fattie fat-asses! One weighs 18 pounds and the other is just under 20 lbs!
squeakD 2 years ago
Daymn! They'd be triggering the aftertouch if you put them on a keyboard! ; )
