If you look at his masterpiece, The 4 Seasons, you will see that it is about the same length in terms of playing time of this whole piece. Vivaldi is a master in changing paces, giving us the illusion that some pieces are smaller than others

@alig20 any piece you play can have the lenght of whatever you want, but how can you be so sure that that's the right tempo?

i bet you're a suzuki student, not used to play things in a reasonable tempo.

Vivaldi's concerti for strings are more or less concerto miniatures. Most of them easily fit under 10 minutes.
