Neat "air core" armature works very well light with quick accileration
where is the magnet here??? can i use any kind of magnet?

magnets are on both sides of the armature - I used neodymium magnets for stronger magnetic attraction but normal magnets will work quite well

Yes, the two strips of brass are the brushes. You can see a few sparks there
that's very nice, but yeah it's running off batteries which are DC

That's a really nice motor, although it's running on DC power, not AC.
