All fuel and air go into the crankcase via transfer port in the piston and swirl around the crankshaft until being forced on top of the piston. Your supercharger just blow air in the piston and it came out by the muffler because you don't have an exhaust valve so it just domage your piston because you are probebly running to lean ,,, dont buy super charger ....

This does work to some degree. It might be more effective on a 4 stroke, but more air will be shoved into the chamber than can be removed by the exhaust therefore boost.

turbo work by increasing the pressure in a intake manifold, so dont matter what stroke the engine is, as long as its increasing the PSI inside the intake your all good.
well semis aren't 2 stroke and if your talking about the older detroit two stroke diesels they had valves and work 100% different than an rc car engine.

Two Stroke = No Valves (Except rare turbo diesels in some ships)
This means your boost goes right out the exhaust. They do nothing but ruin good engines. A good pipe will give you that turbo feel when the engine "comes on" the pipe. Trust me, my bike almost threw me once from it haha

Ugh.... These aren't superchargers. Look carefully... The exhaust gases will spin the turbines, which is what a turbocharger uses. Superchargers utilize the power from the engine to spin a turbine in order to compress the air. Besides, the turbos are actually too small to be able to put any compressed air into the combustion chamber. The time used to make these things could have been used to cure cancer. Geeze.
@DNAngelic There BELT driven not exhaust driven so don't sit there bitching about something you don't look at closer. The pipes coming off them is going to the intake not the exhaust. Turbo charges does not and never will run off belts. These are actually closer to a procharger then anything but eh close enough. @fdjizm i think the pulleys and belt connects the 2 turbos so they spin at the same speed, the pulley and belt is only connected to the 2 turbos i dont think its attached to the engine.

The exhaust and intake ports are open at the same time which means all that extra energy being spent to run the chargers are just blowing air out the exhaust. To get the most potential out of a 2 stroke get a proper pipe per application, dpending if your looking for a lower or higher torque band. These are junk on 2 stroke. Works better on 4 stroke.
@pizzashint It is possible to supercharge/turbocharge a twostroke engine, It just requires a bit more than bolting them on. Snow mobiles have been doing it for years. But iirc they use a piston that is designed with a flat bottom to squash the fuel air mixture in the crankcase before its burnt. Somthing that a standard 2 stroke nitro motor wont do enough to make charging effective.
A tuned exhaust that resonates to prevent the compressed mixture escaping is also a way to do it so ive heard

Aight a little somethin for those thinkin wow this is cool or i bet the power is nice.......people need to understand how a 2 stroke works. The exhaust and intake ports are open at the same time which means all that extra energy being spent to run the chargers are just blowing air out the exhaust. To get the most potential out of a 2 stroke get a proper pipe per application, dpending if your looking for a lower or higher torque band. These are junk on 2 stroke. Works better on 4 stroke.

@pizzashint It is possible to supercharge/turbocharge a twostroke engine, It just requires a bit more than bolting them on. Snow mobiles have been doing it for years. But iirc they use a piston that is designed with a flat bottom to squash the fuel air mixture in the crankcase before its burnt. Somthing that a standard 2 stroke nitro motor wont do enough to make charging effective.
A tuned exhaust that resonates to prevent the compressed mixture escaping is also a way to do it so ive heard

@wnodzykowski that is not true, if you make the exhaust port smaller and build a pipe that have the right resistance you can actually make a lot of power out of the turbo. next time learn more about engines before you comment.

@rotax7804 We all know turbo's work on two stroke engines. But we also know that nobody makes turbo's for RC car engines that actually WORK. They COULD. Someone COULD make one that works, but nobody has yet, and many people have proven that all these F.I. kits being sold for RC cars make little to no boost. Me and my friends have done testing on all of these RC forced induction kits that have popped up over the years, and not a single, solitary one has worked. Have fun making money off suckers.

why would you put a turbo on a two stroke engine... You just blow air all the way through the engine... Four strokes have no ports where thr boost could escape so it builds up which can't be said for those small guys...

something in my mind is bugging me about these ,, now a two stroke doesn't normally benefit from a turbo as a direct bolt on to the carb that's why the rbs suck ass and mostly ruin engines but these are different they actually call on back pressure as well as cool air maybe it would work ps agreed run it

this is not a turbo its a super charger.. turbo is exhaust driven. super charger's are powered from the engine usually belt drive
