If I wasn't a die hard Zevon fan I would really enjoy this. See sounds great but sometimes you just can't help but compare covers to the orginal.

nice voice. alas, warren is probably rolling in his grave, knowing that his song was turned into a jack johnson style cover.

well,maybe so..but HE's sure not using it anymore...I doubt anyone in that bar had ever heard the song before, and I'd guess that Warren would rather his words be heard than not.
