  • Great video in really beginner friendly terms. Thanks

  • Very nice explanation on the video.

  • He killed Mike the Mosquito. ARRRGGHHHH

  • @MrDemontrigger I had to it had west nile disease.

  • @MrDemontrigger

The mosquito was most likely female. I guess her name could have been Mike.

  • This is a bloody mosquito killing movie! LOL.

  • this was a nice video, i like how you talk nice and slow so beginners like me have a chance to get it.

  • Nice video. By the way, you sound like homer simpson when he was young!

  • I crashed my bike and it's about 10 mm out, do I just stand on it instead?

  • @Outofthi5tube I've done that in the past.

  • @richpin06a Does it work?

  • @Outofthi5tube I was deep in the woods at the time and it got me home.

  • I have a road style bike that has a warped back rim. How precise can I get on this adjustment? I have a dial indicator too. Is there a specific tolerance that I should be looking for. Thanks for the awesome video.

  • @sampsondog04 I would think you would want the run out under .015

  • Good push iron porn ;)

  • As a former bicycle mechanic, this vid by richpin06a has some good tips for truing up a wheel from regular rim/spoke flex. Keep in mind, any up down truing is done also by loosening (upward) and tightening (downward) spokes, you must work both side to side and up/ down adjustments simultaneously. Good vid and maintenance tips :)

  • @bluejeantex Thank you for sharing expert advise.

  • Good stuff, Rich!

  • Wow, I never even knew bicycle rims were adjustable, thanks for the heads up Rich! Awesome video sir.

  • I can see how a dial indicator would make this a more accurate fix. Do the professionals use that method, or do they go with a low tech solution?

  • @spelunkerd They use a lower tech method.

  • @spelunkerd, @richpin06, ...any bicycle/repair shop would use a "park 'brand' truing stand" for out of frame truing...I would not say low tech, the stand allows the mechanic to true and center rim for a proper repair. :)

  • nice, I can fix my wobbly wheels now :)

  • Hey Rich, Want a roomate??? It would be awesome to hang out with you! Thanks for all your videos!!!

  • @chevynut71570 Yes...please tell me you look like Marina Orlova (hotforwords)

  • @richpin06a DAMN! Nope, Im sorry bud, lol. But your right, she's HOTTTTT!!!!!

  • great video, but man i hate spoked wheels, i wish we had non spoked rims like i had as a kid (they never broke or nothing), dont know why not ? i got a trek 4300 too !!! nice bike but now i want a trek dual suspension, the dual suspension blows away these regular ones now !!!

  • Dude your videos are so helpful. Just got back in from riding and I needed to complete this task. Thanks to your video it was easy. Can you show how to tighten mechanical disc brakes?

  • @noooooobster I will put that on my to do list right now

  • @noooooobster he has a video on bicycle disc brakes and how to set them, its in his uploads somewhere !!!

  • @therockkkkher I have watched that video as well. Super informative. I was looking specifically for a video on tightening the brake cables and such. How are you liking the 4300? I have a 3700 and 6000. Amazing bikes. Hardtail for life!
