There was a U.S. 12" single released in 1979 as a promo which runs 5:24. Casablanca NBD 20209 DJ.

The Canadian pressing of the album "Strange Spirits" has the same longer track, Casablanca NBLP 7192 (NBLP 7192-AS) as opposed to the U.S. pressing which only features the radio version, Casablanca NBLP 7192.

Frankly, so have I. I had their 1979 album "Strange Spirits" album, until my house was broken into, and while it had been recorded to the hard drive, I only did so at 16 bit, 44.1 kHz. You might have some luck on the "Discogs" site.

@desertlonghair I got a copy of this on the CASABLANCA SERIES (the story of casablanca (limited edition) which is a 12 set released in the 90's.

@gearymarcello Turns out the version on disc 3 of the Casablanca set is just the long 5 minute cut that I already have. I'm looking for the version that runs over 6 minutes, and has that "disco cowbell" sound in it, as well as a longer segment for that "Andrew Sisters" -type vocal near the end. It was released as a 12" single, a friend had it years ago......

@zmubal ....is it a running time of about 5 1/2 minutes? Apparently if that's the case, then I must have the 12" version on CD at least. I was told time and time again that there was a longer one (not a special dj mix like the Disconet one that I have) that was released on 12" on Casablanca, but the source that told me this just might be incorrect after all!
