God bless you dear. This reminds me of my childhood days, back in the 80s. My dad would always use this song to make Sunday a remarkable week day. Wow! I am happy to watch the video this time...
Baba Sir, President Goodluck Jonathan, i always pray for you! as you really have the mind to make Nigeria a great Nation, may God Gulide you! may your going out and your coming in be favored. this all Nigerians says in jesus Name Amen!!! i hope may all Nigerians vote for him! i believe he will give us light that is Electricity, Water and Good Road by God grace Amen! GOD BLESS NIGERIA!!!
praise God, reminds me of my childhood. though the song was played more after burials lol ...I am happy and thank God for the internet and youtube. now we can view , save, access and archive videoa and that we missed so dearly .
Many thanks to Codewit for uploading this song.Back then in 80s when I was still in Nnewi, this song was hot cake then.May God bless my people the igbos.I know that we shall over come one day.We are the choosen volks.
I am trying to hold tears back.. this is one of the many songs that is bringing back memories, but more sad and painful that the Igbo people will s till be in bondage and slavery when they were people born with greatness... Ka eme nkwa ekwere Nna, na-ebe umu gi ndi igbo no...
Codewit, I can't thank you enough for uploading this music in its video form. Song that is evergreen. But please can you upload the lyrics( both the igbo and english) just like it was sang???????? Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee
This is aweson, just reminded me of those good old days, i would love more of this music.thanx alot to the lovely singers , they are talented and just have thier unique and angelic voices tripping and putting smiles on many faces. thanx a great deal.
This is a fantastic song, i love it to bit, i cannot stop playing it everyday in the office, it reminds me of my youth in nigeria in the 80s, time flies you know. God bless you for this song
This takes me back home precisely St Mark's Methodist Church 8/10 Azikiwe Rd. Aba where i worshiped before leaving Nigeria. Oh! i am homesick. Praise God! from Frank out here in KL Malaysia.
Demon hunters shoot down angels in the sky. In the city of god, they are dying. Mortar shells shatter the walls of holiness. The masses are terrified and screaming. Their hope is lost as god's gold turns to rust. Innocents looking to end their pain. Their pitiful lives come to an end. Satan's wisdom brings us to life. Leaving pain for the cowards to endure. The masses of futility are forgotten. We are the champions and they were defeated. We are as one with the demon's darkness.
This was a classic song in the 80's. What a reminder.
I never new that these kind of songs are here. It retains its quality and inspiration. With better demonstration unlike audio that I use to know. God bless you for the post.
im truly grateful to youtube and whoever took the pains to post this and other videos by Br. Clement Kalu Uko. I'm so emotional right now b/c this song brings back so much very good memories while growing up at home (Nigeria) in the 1980's. I truly love these Praise and Worship songs and still remember every word of it. Praise be Jesus.
This is great, God is great, may his holy name be praised. Tears flowed freely when I saw this video clip and watched it. I grew up learning how to sing every word of this song.
To whom it may concern, Please accept my appreciation for bringing these classic evergreen worship songs before the global community. Ezeogu- ChapelHill, NC
OMG, i can't forget this song in my life, i can remember when my daddy use to play this song on Sundays after church, i still can remember that this song was the song they sing when my little sister was dedicated at Assemblies of God church Port Harcourt in 1987,, it was so wonderful to hear this song again in you tube Code wit, May the Almighty Father richly bless you.. and the people of Igbo land,, my name is SUCCESS, stay in Malaysia..
Upon heaing this great and anointed song my mind flashed back to late 80's, when we woke up sunday morning this song will be playing virtually in every family.this album remind of home,A.Y.F.and how my mum use to us to go to fellowship.God bless you Codewit so much for posting this song.Deochris.USA.
This is a root rock and unadultrated gospel song , reminding me of my formative years in the early 80's . Thanx a lot Codewit for posting , God belss you .
wow... if this song was really old as i'v heard people taling about , then this must really be different technology, cos the one that really got me was the person that said they used it for his sister dedication in 1987 dat was even b4 i was born.... and the clothing style looked so modern and even the video has an impeccable stance as if it was shot yesterday.... even more better than what new artist shoots. hmmm still suprised... and loving the music.
bros i dont know u but immediately i heard this song i started praying 4 you. i feel like collapsing under my feet when i tried replaying the song. you re doing a great spiritual work. you have have a great ministry and dont allow it to die. Hope U ve a personal encounter with Christ? if yes keep fanning and C U in on that day
I tell you my fellow Christians, that all the sins in this world is accountable to the churches, for if they only unite and upheld free giving instead of buying and selling, there could be no robber and thieves among them, nor is there a chance for athiestic view to rise. The Way of God had suffered abusive speech from the enemies of God because the churches are harlot.
Codewit! Nwanne,ya diri kwa gi na mma.Odi ka gi ebibile.anyi ndi no na asia,na si gi,iga na aga n'iru. This music is reminding me early 80's,when IBS radio station owerri normally plays this song every sunday evenings
My God, this song has been long... i remember they use this song to dedicate my younger sister, in assemblies of God church silver valle, that was around, 1987, damn it is been long, i will downlaod it now, God bless you more again, Codewit, for reminding me the past. May God bless them and all gospel singers in nig... bless me also in malaysia and australia
There are theories that music predated verbal language. It is a universal language. Noone gets to claim it as their own. It's a gift from God for all humanity. Beautiful music on this film. Love it.
It has been so long since I last heard these melodious voices.... U cant believe how happy and excited I felt when I got to listen to thses beautiful songs.... Luvly!
Why do christians always want to convert the Jews. We have the true religion but do not push our view on you. I think that Jesus never wanted to convert anyone.
Just like you say "We have the true religion ", so do we Christians believe as well. We try to convert people to show them a new light that they've never seen before. It is the commision that Jesus Christ gave to us. He has made us fishers of men and we can do nothing other than fish for souls to bring into his kingdom. Prince
We can't both be right, so I think you are wrong. Jews don't want to be fished for, so please stop. Don't stop singing though. You guys are awesome! I love your music.
Can u please explain to me what Jesus meant when he told Peter and his brother Andrew when he saw them fishing and said; 'come, follow me and I will make u fishers of men'. I think you need to understand why Jesus came and why the Jews did not accept him. They'll cry out to him someday though, very soon, cos He is the Annointed Messiah they're still waiting for. He only came in a way they could not recognize.
Well articulated and highly motivational song that has stood the test of generations. How I wish most our so called Gospel artists could learn from the decency (dancing and dressing)of this group, with its inspiring lyrics. keep it up.
Thanks for posting, I don't speak Igbo but loved it. I know this song would be a hit in East Africa; we have similar songs imagine they sell more than secular songs.
thiz music reminds me farback 1990 when my father died it wasv this music they played all day.....it was my first time to hear it as i was too young then!.....each time i hear this music,it reminds me my father's funeral....FATHER,MAY YOUR KIND AND JENTLE SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE.we shall meet to part nomore.AMEN
I was so much touched by your video. I cried and felt "Heaven" through your happy, lively, praise and dance. You are the "best" in the whole world. If possible, I want to have a video of your church's real worship service(I don't care whether I understand your language or not). You have reached, spiritually, closest to the "Heaven" and expressed it through this video. We feel it. I felt it. My address: Mr. T.Y.Kim, 2340 Chandler Grove DR. Buford, GA U.S.A.30519
Oh my goodness! I was screaming when I saw this video. Never felt so happy in a while. Pure classic! Thank you so much Codewit for posting this. You made my day. Memories no dey die!
This is great!!you just took me back to Methodist church Enugu.Uwani Cathedral.May God bless you real good for this.i have not stopped dancing since i got this.God bless you.
does anyone know that Ibo people are from the tribe of Isreal? Yes, they are from the tribe of David. The opulency of God is buried in Nigeria, and the wisdom of God is buried in Ibo land.
what a clean-self praise! i do appreciate, i'm from cameroon and love this song too. But tell me, why do you want to keep the opulency of God in Nigeria? -- obedience to God is the worth of every Christian --
Nigeria is a great country loved by many african, i love your culture and you Christian Artists:Agatha Moses, Chinyere Udoma and so on...go go go brothers and sister of Philip Emeagwali, God Bless every nigerian, whether he is christian or not!
@4uogod Please this statement sounds discriminatory to me. God is the father of all, your friends and enemies inclusive. Meanwhile it is called Igbo by us Igbos and not Ibo. Leave the Ibo pronunciation for the non-Igbos.
Codewit Nwanne Mmadu, someone said we should not limit our gratitude to youtube but be more real by establishing a personal contact. I concur. Chukwu gozie O!
Code Nwanna, nma nma to you for letting me remember home. I first heard this song when i was less than 12 and could vividly remember how it made me feel then. I feel thesame way now. Chukwu gozie gi!
Thanks greatly for posting this musical video.God will surely add more fulfilled years of happy life to you for bringing to our door-steps this ilk of inspirational song. Please, keep the flag flying, never relent!

You have reached, spiritually, closest to the "Heaven" and expressed it through this video. We feel it. I felt it. My address: Mr. T.Y.Kim, 2340 Chandler Grove DR. Buford, GA U.S.A.30519

does anyone know that Ibo people are from the tribe of Isreal? Yes, they are from the tribe of David. The opulency of God is buried in Nigeria, and the wisdom of God is buried in Ibo land.
4uogod 3 years ago
what a clean-self praise! i do appreciate, i'm from cameroon and love this song too.
