'Choke' by Chuck P. Is my favorite book, and in my opinion the best book hes ever written. Although I have heard good things about 'Survivor' but have never read it. Make sure though if your going to read 'Choke' read it before the movie comes out.

Ok. So first: Confederancy of dunces has been on my "To Read" list forever. And second: what chuck palahniuk book are you considering reading? I have reccomendations.
I've already read all chuck's books, but skid has only read survivor and fight club. So i was thinking either lullaby (my 2nd fave after survivor) or invisible monsters, just because it's so different from what skid usually reads. whatcha think?
Hmm. Out of the two you picked i would choose lullaby (that was my chuck book). But honestly i would reccomend reading choke, because they recently made a movie out of it, and i feel strongly about reading books before seeing movies.

If you've never read Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri, you should. IT IS AMAZING. Oh, and Splinter Factory by Jeffrey McDaniels. He's my favorite poet ever. WOOT.
The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove fo' sho'. 'Tis hilarious! Oh and of course Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintainence. It's got a very Budda/Taoist Quality(pun for those who read it)
