swarovski crystals are a bit pricey, I used just regular craft crystals. Recollections now sells them in strips, which cuts the time in half that it takes to glue them on. Even though the strips are self adhesive I would still reinforce them with Glossy accents made by Inkssentials. You can purchase all of it at Michael's. Great project by the way.

there are 2 bootles, that must be mixed to obtain a sticky mixture

you can find this glue everywhere, among others in the DIY stores

Second, why do you cover the dotting tool with putty?

You could use beeswax to make it a little easier.

It does the same thing as the wax, but you use less of it to get the job done.

why do we need to put putty on the dotting tool??? Cant we dip the dotting tool in clear nail polish and stick the crystals? As it`s done in nail arts? I really want to know the reason for it.

@CoolWints Because the putty doesnt leave any marks on the crystal and the nail polish with leave polish on the crystal and making it not bling as bright.

@FashionistaLuvsNY she used epoxy glue (not sure if it was 1 part or 2 part) so my guess is anything less than running a marathon while having a dog bite at your heels will result in the crystals lasting almost permanently :)
