  • Alexander Clement acused the greeks because of their lack of originality in their culture and civilization because they took everything from the thracians

  • Ares is every modern warfare fans god

  • Kratos is the true god of war.

  • @HannibalCarlos Go to Hel Son of a bitsch i will shred you to pieces fucking subnormal piece of shit ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ares is not an evil god, he represents courage, strenght, heart of war, and art of weaponry itself.

  • @jin54363

Don't forget he also protected one of Aphrodite's sons during the Trojan War (further demonstration he's not evil)..

  • @straburyred

i didn't knew that, thx for telling me, are you dodekatheist/hellenist?

  • @jin54363 Studied Greek mythology in my teens and I'm just now getting back into it. I'm converting to the neopagan faith.

  • I hate ares i like apollo and fartemis

  • @MiaYukai7480 fuck your stupid mom

  • Ares might have a middle eastern origin-mesopotamia.

  • I wouldn't feel too bad for Ares; he *did* manage to score w/Aphrodite after all.

  • Praise be to Ares

    Thanks be to Ares

    Blessed be his Holy Name

  • @kingsarbkota Ares is loyal to no one. He would just assume see you suffer for blessing him. Be careful when calling on Ares he is not your friend.

  • @XActSafeX That may be, but he'll help you if you give him something in return. For example, I culd put a curse on someone he has it in for in exchange for him wrecking the life of someone who f***ed me over. He might help me against a mutual enemy just for the sadistic pleasure of watching them suffer or lead me into metaphhysical combat against someone I have it in for just for the pleasure of seeing a fight. See where I'm going with this?

  • @kingsarbkota Just be quiet already; really no offense but even if he did existed why would you praise a god who is cruel and evil and has no interest in the good of humanity other than to slaughter them. He loves no one nor will he love you.

  • @Antonio181ful You talk about the gods of others, but not of your own. What god(s) do you praise, worship, etc.? What god(s) do you think is (are) so great? And who are you to tell me I have to be quiet? I don't need your permission to praise Ares, Aphrodite, Odin, Kali, Jesus, Allah, Confucious, or anyone else.

AND- why are you watching this video if you think Ares is so horrible? Do you really think you're going to convert ANYONE?

  • @kingsarbkota : Look at mount Olympus in real life and what do you see? Nothing. The gods have made constant appearances to mortals in the past, why don't they do so now? All their temples are ruined, practically the world stops believing in them and what happens? They do nothing. I understand being merciful but a god has to be just once in a while. Not just me but other people call this Greek mythology. Look for it in the dictionary. Those are just fables to find meaning in the world.

  • @Antonio181ful You still haven't answered my question. Who is (are) YOUR god(s)? Fables? That may be. The gods could be that. They could be real. They could "thoughtforms," offshoots of a single divine source, all of these things or none of these things. You say you don't believe in the gods because they don't appear any more? Do you also, by the same logic, dismiss the idea of Jimmy Hoffa being dead and buried somewhere? After all, he doesn't appear to anyone any more, either. ???

  • @kingsarbkota He sais that because he secretly wants them to appear to him in person, thats the same secret wish i have

  • @YamiBarai21 It's been my experience that Ares responds positively to offerings of garlic ;)

  • @kingsarbkota really??!! explain more...

  • @YamiBarai21 I'm not sure how it works, but it does. I went outside with some leftover garlic I forgot I had. I thought of offering it to someone. After going through my personal pantheon, I figured Ares was the best candidate. I could sense his presence AND his approval. My theory is that the strong odor is what appeals to a god of war. I also remembered that every Greek dish I ever tried before that, except baklava, had garlic in it. See where I'm going with that?

  • @kingsarbkota Yes, I see! Do you think Hitler was Ares incarnate and Augustus was Eros incarnate and Jesus was Hades incarnate? or I am just crazy?!

  • @YamiBarai21 I don't think you're crazy, but I don't think Hitler, Augustus (assume you mean Augustus Caesar), or Jesus were deities, either. I think they were men who just did extraordinary things, even if not always for good.

  • @kingsarbkota Thanks, because a lot of people think I'm crazy just for suggesting those possibilities (even if I think they're crazier themselves for other obvious reasons) but I deffinetely think God/Human Hybrids exist or have existed or will exist in some point in history (not in the way religious texts portray them of course, but you get the idea), what do you think?

  • @YamiBarai21 idk- never thought about that.

  • @kingsarbkota Do you practice the new Greek Religion?!.... please don't use the "p" or the "h" words

  • @YamiBarai21 I'm a solitary, eclectic praticioner. I don't know what the new Greek Religion OR the p or h words are. I have a personal pantheon, of which Ares is a part, along with others from the Greek pantheon. (15 members of my personal pantheon are Norse. Then, there are some Egyptian deities, not to mention, Morrigan and Kali.) My practice includes, but is not limited to, elements of shamanism, stregheria, laveyan satanism, and catholicism.

  • @kingsarbkota who is Morrigan? sounds Keltic to me!! the Greek Religion is simply the revival of the ancient one adapted to these times, the infamous "h" and "p" words are "pagan" and "heathen" two loathsome words to me that some stupid newbies who don't understand shit apply to themselves... and what is "stregheria"? and isn't laveyan satanism atheist BTW?!

  • @YamiBarai21 Yes, Morrigan is a Celtic goddess. LaVeyan satanism is primarily atheistic, but the impression I get from reading the Satanic Bible is that the satanist would be their own god, their own "redeemer," you get the idea. I use the Satanic Bible's "Ritual Aiimed at the Conjuration of Destruction" primarily as a foundation for curses. (I don't believe in karma, Law of Return, or whatever else you call it.) "Stregheria" is witchcraft with a distinctly Italian flavor ;)

  • @kingsarbkota I know what you mean, but the fact that it's called "atheistic" means that you're commiting a BLASPHEMY by using anything associated with them, when they name themselves "gods" they're commeting the unforgivable sin of HUBRIS it's in the BIBLE, that's something I wouldn't advise even my worse enemy to commit, it would be tantamount to slapping all the GODS in the face, nobody would endure the eternal torture it conveys buddy

GOOD LUCK IN YOUR PATH TO FIND GOD!!!!

  • @YamiBarai21 I'm not looking for "God." Been there, done that, and what I found was more like a devil than a god. I never heard a (laveyan) satanist call themself "God." They seem more interested in embracing humanity's carnal nature than worshipping any deity. I don't fully understand it, nor do I call myself a satanist, nor am I a member of LaVey's Church of Satan. I just happen to embrace some of the ideas from the satanic Bible and use 1 of the rituals in my personal practi

  • @YamiBarai21 ce. I don't care what "God" thinks, seem as how "God" never did anything for me. Let a god who acts more like a devil than a god consider me blasphemous; I don't care. a god who sits idly by while I suffer and then has both the audacity to demand not only my worship but my gratitude for it and the unmitigated gall to threaten me with eternal damnation should I fail to comply is not only a false god, but is the REAL Devil. I REFUSE to be a devil worshipper ;)

  • @kingsarbkota I wasn't talking about Yaweh or Allah or Jehovah, I was talking about all Gods and Goddessses, I guess my point is... Atheism is a blasphemy to ALL GODS including your dear Ares my friend

    Best of lucks again!!!

  • Ares was a thracian king..a great military leader he was not greek.A god means something more of a genius something many people don"t understand.Saying there are no gods is like saying that Einstein does not exist.Gods were people with great mental capabilities therefore they earned the title of god.And they are not all powerfull just powerfull.Ares once come wounded from a battle in front of Zeus and when Zeus allowed the gods to fight against Troy again Ares was the first to join

  • @dinamovisturau You're wrong my friend, Gods have existed long before the hypothetical Big Bang, they're beyond space and time, matter/mass and energy and they control our actions, destiny or even will

This life we're living is just another game of the Gods and Goddesses

  • @YamiBarai21 Those are the older gods.No one is beyond space and time.Just as a man who understands the mind better can influence others intentionally so can one influence reality..events and maybe even predict what will happen if they understand the secrets of prophecy .And they can incarnate and evolve like everything else..what is small will be big.

  • @YamiBarai21 But maybe by beyond time...space...you want to say something else

  • @Antonio181ful

do you even know the meaning of mount olympus?

maintain that lack of knowledge to yourself

  • @Antonio181ful Who gave you the right to tell anyone how to worship? Chances are your ancestors came to establish religious freedom (as did a lot of others here). Did anyone here insult your god? I don't think so! We don't preach to you,so have some decency and return the favor.
