I think Kashi GoLean Crunch is a good cereal. Per serving, It has eight grams of fiber, nine grams of protein, it only has thirteen grams of sugar, thirty grams of carbohydrates thirty-seven grams, and is low in calories. though i would like to know if it really is a good cereal.
There are still a few cereals you can find in health food stores that are all amaranth. Pure flax is also good.
I'm not sure as to the nutrition labels on all of these, but there are quite a few that are very high in fibre.
I eat either a bran or all flax cereal with unsweetened soy milk and either strawberries or bananas in it. I would think raw oatmeal would be a good sub as well.
You find soy in all the processed food. Soy is used in medication for people who are hyper-thyroid (they are hyper and it slows them down). So, if you are hypo-thyroid, it slows your metabolism down and you gain even more weight. We have an obesity crisis going on and people are stuffing themselves with soy! Don't eat soy, it is just a cheap filler that has taken the place of eggs, and is used as an emulsifier.

I do agree that fake sugar is bad. Aspartame (Google it) is known to cause brain tumors, dpression, and anxiety.
I haven't had a soda on a daily basis in 7 1/2 years, a soda at all in the past 4 1/2 years or a doughnut in 6 1/2 years. It's not the end of the world. =)
As for cereal, I don't know of anything low-carb but only consume unsweetened cereal because of my hypoglycemia. Barbara's Bakery has a good brand of unsweetened natural shredded wheat, good with organic bananas & organic milk. Millet(if thyroid issues aren't a concern) or quinoa, to limit or avoid gluten completely, is good.

Olive oil is a much healthier oil to use for cooking since it's high in omega-3 fatty acids and has a lot less saturated fat in it than coconut oil.

You find soy in all the processed food. Soy is used in medication for people who are hyper-thyroid (they are hyper and it slows them down). So, if you are hypo-thyroid, it slows your metabolism down and you gain even more weight. We have an obesity crisis going on and people are stuffing themselves with soy! Don't eat soy, it is just a cheap filler that has taken the place of eggs, and is used as an emulsifier.

It's an Arabic recipe .. we have it on the markets and it's the best to lose weight :)

In the cereal alternative scene the host tells us to mix fake sugar with crackers. However, in a latter scene describing soda alternatives, he tells us that fake sugar is bad. Was there an editor screening the video before it was posted?
I do agree that fake sugar is bad. Aspartame (Google it) is known to cause brain tumors, dpression, and anxiety.

I haven't had a soda on a daily basis in 7 1/2 years, a soda at all in the past 4 1/2 years or a doughnut in 6 1/2 years. It's not the end of the world. =)
As for cereal, I don't know of anything low-carb but only consume unsweetened cereal because of my hypoglycemia. Barbara's Bakery has a good brand of unsweetened natural shredded wheat, good with organic bananas & organic milk. Millet(if thyroid issues aren't a concern) or quinoa, to limit or avoid gluten completely, is good.

Kashi Go Lean is high in fiber and protein and relatively low in sugar. I don't eat cereal much at all--I prefer oatmeal with dried fruit; however, when I need a snack, It seems like a handful of that keeps me from getting hungry.

Honestly I wrote down the top ten worst foods and I wont be buying them next time I go grocery shopping..
But there is NO WAY that I'm gonna replace those foods with the ones you suggested!!!

The nutritional quality of the food has more to do with how you feel than the taste.
If you eat healthy food for a just a few days, you will immediately see an improvement in how you feel with a dramatic increase in energy.
After eating healthy foods for a few weeks, they will taste great, because they are what the body needs.
At this point unhealthy foods start to be repulsive. For example, soft drinks are absolutely disgusting to be now that I am no longer addicted to sugar.

I do know where your coming from because last year I was strong and said no to sugary foods and fats and yes, it did taste disgusting. But im sorry I still am not gonna replace those foods with the ones you suggested. However, I am saying no to the usual sugary and fattening foods I usually eat. Im also eating more vegetables and friuts
