Cappuccino is pretty red for everyone. I have that shade in photo ready. I mix my cappuccino photo ready with the caramel (400) color stay to give my correct color and I must say the two work amazing together. Caramel is quite yellow so that's why it works so well cappuccino. My skin looks extremely smooth in pics and I think it has to do with color stay consistency and the photo ready adds extra umph!
@makeupD0LL- I would say its a true medium coverage foundation. I also have experimented with many foundations and this is by no means a light coverage. MAC face and body, NARS sheer glow, or a heavier tinted moisturizer is more like a light coverage. But I suppose its a matter of skin type and ultimately opinion.

I just bought this foundation on ebay for $9 in carmel...it makes my skin alittle red but like you said i put and setting powder over it to tone it down abit...and i use it with smashbox photo finish primer which helps my skin/foundation stay smooth all day and blend more evenly

I agree it just depends what people like...I like both the colorstay and photoready for different reasons....for a matt look I lean towards the colorstay...and if I want dewy I use the photoready....I like them both but tend to use the photoready more =]

Ok i"m going to restock my foundation and i"ve used the maybelline color stay and its pretty good but i want to know is Revlon better cuz i cant afford to get them both. i need one that doesnt rub off easily and i can touch my face with out rubbings a chunk off. also i have smile lines on the side of my face and the maybelline colorstay never covers that cuz when i smile and then my face goes back to normal you can see that i"m wearing foundation by the dents it leaves
@ikemi28 Do you use a primer before you put on foundation? Maybe that would help eliminate the lines. Try the Monistat Chafing Powder Gel...it's the BIZNESS!!!
This is a top quality liquid foundation.. I wore this to Thai Boxing training (not intentional.. I was running late) At the end of an hours intense very sweaty session THIS FOUNDATION DIDNT MELT, SMEAR it stayed put - I was actually in shock, especially as I have oily skin. I would reccomend this to everyone!!!

the normal to dry still makes my skin dry out! i like it but in certain spots even after i moisturizer and it looks fine, when i put on the foundation it dries it out. i don't know what to do!

@MizzNika87 do what i do and try out a little at the store because make up is way to pricey to get the wrong one. they should really think of having samples. oh and always pick the foundation in the back rows.
Yes I love this foundation! I have oily skin so i use the combination/oily formula. & I'm a 360 Golden Caramel or something but I like the finish. It's not cakey & it doesn't feel heavy like MACs Studio Fix Fluid. I just ordered the MAC Select spf 15 too so I'm gonna try that out. But as of right now Revlon ColorStay is my absolute favorite. It lasts all day for me & yes, I do set it with MACs Select Sheer pressed powder so I get a nice matte finish!
1 more thing....can you do a red lip tut? i have this thing in my head that tells me red lipstick doesnt look right on dark skin females(like myself)...i want to be wrong...help!! lol

I wear cappuccino too, and the only problem I have with it is the red undertone. I love the coverage and it doesn't settle into my forehead lines like Iman foundation stick. I apply it with a damp makeup sponge, but if i want that airbrushed finish I stipple it on with a skunk brush. But the skunk brush method tends to make my look orange by the time i get out of school. Maybe because I do it under really bright lights to see better? Any ways I like this foundation, but I might have to mix it.
I also got the cappuccino. And I do love the coverage. My only issue is the red undertone it leaves and it was a bit to dark. I just bought a lighter shade and mixed the two. I would suggest buying several shades lighter than the cappuccino. Now I absolutely love it!!
gurl, i use the combo/oily and i set it w/the Milani pressed minerals and it does stay on from the moment u put it on to the moment u take it off, even ur blush will stay looking fresh, and i have really oily skin, so i can only imagine how long it stays on the dry/normal skin...great foundation, i use this one and the superstay...they are both great...5stars..
I like it. I am also an NW45er and picked up Cappucino by eye since I forgot to bring my Mac Liquid foundation. When I got home and positioned the two bottles together, I noticed that Cappucino is darker than the NwW45 liquid and seems more red, so I got the shade lighter, called Caramel and I mix the two, (kind of annoying because Revlon bottles don't have pumps) but I got the idea from miss Bailey and it helps because I also noticed, it seemed a bit dark after putting it on.
Hey Doll, Dry Skin:I have this foundation in three shades because i had a hard time toning down the orangey tone in one of them, so the color selection could've been a little better! I have to say its one that for some reason i keep on the shelf and dont use everyday,but after using it today i have to say i need it everyday! its coverage is nice and it blends flawlessley!! Love this ffoundation and how it lasts all day as promised!

@makeupD0LL They do have for dark brown skin tones. I'm the same complexion as you & they have our tone lol. Must be hard to find where you are, cause it took me a while to find mine. The color that will work for you is either caramel/cocoa
I haw used revlon colorstay in mocha and mahogany and they were both too dark do I had to use cappochino (410) I beleive. Luv this foundation and it will last all day. I actually like this better them Mac, which I use nw47.
I love the Revlon Colorstay, I have tried everything. I hate every Mac foundatiion, not impressed with the MUFE HD but I will definitely try the MUFE Matte and the Chanel pro Matte, and the Nars Matte and then I will be finished with my foundation search. If you try any of those please let me know so far Revlon Colorstay is the best for my combination, oily skin and it does not transfer!!!!!!!!!!
I like the look of this foundation on me. But it seems when I wash it off, it leaves my skin dry. x_x. And that darn nonexistent pump. D< I want a pump! Hahahha.
I love the Color Stay foundation. I use the combination to oily formula. It does last really long especially with a primer. I use 440 Mahogany even though it is a little darker than my skin tone, but I just mix it with a drop of a lighter foundation and set it with a powder.
The cappuccino should be my color, but like u said it is too red. I might try what u did and just set it with a yellow based powder to correct the color.
im in love with this foundation ! that's the best but here in France it's expensive i get it in caramel it about 20 euros so maybe 25 dollars i think! so that's bad but that's my FAVOURITE!! more than the mac one!
i love that foundation!! it lasts all day.. and i just set it with any powder that i have close to me haha,, and it looks beautiful doesnt matter if its a cheap powder or my mac or estee lauder one..

Toast: NW43/NC45 with neutral undertones
Rich Ginger: NW45 very peachy-pink
Caramel: NC45 seems to run true to color
Cappucino: NC50 slightly more peach than Caramel
Mahogany: NW50/NC55 the darkest of NWs but not extremely peachy
Mocha: NW55 seems to be very cool toned, almost grey undertone

Try mixing a little of that cappucino into caramel. You will get the perfect colour. I'm the same shade as you and that's what I do.

I was running late) At the end of an hours intense very sweaty session THIS FOUNDATION DIDNT MELT, SMEAR it stayed put - I was actually in shock, especially as I have oily skin. I would reccomend this to everyone!!!

they do have Maybelline Dream Mousse in your color...its called cocoa..excellent coverage! I use a stippling brush to give it an airbrush finish.

the normal to dry still makes my skin dry out! i like it but in certain spots even after i moisturizer and it looks fine, when i put on the foundation it dries it out. i don't know what to do!

@MizzNika87 do what i do and try out a little at the store because make up is way to pricey to get the wrong one. they should really think of having samples. oh and always pick the foundation in the back rows.

Yes I love this foundation! I have oily skin so i use the combination/oily formula. & I'm a 360 Golden Caramel or something but I like the finish. It's not cakey & it doesn't feel heavy like MACs Studio Fix Fluid. I just ordered the MAC Select spf 15 too so I'm gonna try that out. But as of right now Revlon ColorStay is my absolute favorite. It lasts all day for me & yes, I do set it with MACs Select Sheer pressed powder so I get a nice matte finish!

I wear cappuccino too, and the only problem I have with it is the red undertone. I love the coverage and it doesn't settle into my forehead lines like Iman foundation stick. I apply it with a damp makeup sponge, but if i want that airbrushed finish I stipple it on with a skunk brush. But the skunk brush method tends to make my look orange by the time i get out of school. Maybe because I do it under really bright lights to see better? Any ways I like this foundation, but I might have to mix it.

I also got the cappuccino. And I do love the coverage. My only issue is the red undertone it leaves and it was a bit to dark. I just bought a lighter shade and mixed the two. I would suggest buying several shades lighter than the cappuccino. Now I absolutely love it!!

gurl, i use the combo/oily and i set it w/the Milani pressed minerals and it does stay on from the moment u put it on to the moment u take it off, even ur blush will stay looking fresh, and i have really oily skin, so i can only imagine how long it stays on the dry/normal skin...great foundation, i use this one and the superstay...they are both great...5stars..

I like it. I am also an NW45er and picked up Cappucino by eye since I forgot to bring my Mac Liquid foundation. When I got home and positioned the two bottles together, I noticed that Cappucino is darker than the NwW45 liquid and seems more red, so I got the shade lighter, called Caramel and I mix the two, (kind of annoying because Revlon bottles don't have pumps) but I got the idea from miss Bailey and it helps because I also noticed, it seemed a bit dark after putting it on.

Hey Doll, Dry Skin:I have this foundation in three shades because i had a hard time toning down the orangey tone in one of them, so the color selection could've been a little better! I have to say its one that for some reason i keep on the shelf and dont use everyday,but after using it today i have to say i need it everyday! its coverage is nice and it blends flawlessley!! Love this ffoundation and how it lasts all day as promised!

@makeupD0LL They do have for dark brown skin tones. I'm the same complexion as you & they have our tone lol. Must be hard to find where you are, cause it took me a while to find mine. The color that will work for you is either caramel/cocoa

I haw used revlon colorstay in mocha and mahogany and they were both too dark do I had to use cappochino (410) I beleive. Luv this foundation and it will last all day. I actually like this better them Mac, which I use nw47.

I love the Revlon Colorstay, I have tried everything. I hate every Mac foundatiion, not impressed with the MUFE HD but I will definitely try the MUFE Matte and the Chanel pro Matte, and the Nars Matte and then I will be finished with my foundation search. If you try any of those please let me know so far Revlon Colorstay is the best for my combination, oily skin and it does not transfer!!!!!!!!!!

I love the Color Stay foundation. I use the combination to oily formula. It does last really long especially with a primer. I use 440 Mahogany even though it is a little darker than my skin tone, but I just mix it with a drop of a lighter foundation and set it with a powder.
The cappuccino should be my color, but like u said it is too red. I might try what u did and just set it with a yellow based powder to correct the color.
