Just a tip the cell will work better if the water can move freely in between the plates. So on your next build dont cut groves in the bottom and space the plates with a small gap from the bottom.

How about a lighted match? That should pinpoint any leaks very quickly!
Seriously though, I WILL TRY TO INCLUDE A SAFER FORM OF LEAK DETECTION.

I know. Next step is to drill rows of 1/8" holes between the SS plates in the bottom.
