Well, that's kinda blunt. But yeah, the lip sync in Vicia is really simple (2 positions). I was learning a new program and I didn't have time to do a very elegant job. For my next animation, each character has around 10.

animating phonemes in Flash isn't a walk in the park, the easiest way to do it (in my opinion) is to make a video ( it doesn't need to be fancy) where you take your audio and make titles flash along with the words as they are said, you have to be sure to have matching frames per second. then you can see what shape and such to use as you animate.

even then, this was an amazing video, I can only hope I'll eventually be able to make ones this good, maybe after i graduate and go to college. =]

Quick english lesson: "lenguaje" is spelled "language". A question mark symbol, "?", is used denote a question, not a statement. Do you draw everything and than scan and photoshop it all... or do you use after effects or somthing or a video program... or is it all flash...

It's all drawn with colored pencils on paper and scanned. Then I draw the black outlines in with Photoshop and animate in Flash.

Wow, this is amazing. I love the opening sentence, "Father told me a story that the whole world sprang out of a bean that, drifting through the black of space, landed by chance on the surface of the earth and took hold...".

The girl has a really haunting voice, and I love how vague her eyes are. The transitions are exceptional too. The ending is haunting. Oh, and I love the end and the moral.

Over all, brilliant piece and music and animation.

thanks, this is very basic flash work, i just imported png images and motion tweened them. that's most of it, anyway. look up a basic flash tutorial and it'll make sense pretty quickly.

i'm using adobe flash cs3. it's the industry standard, i'd recommend it if you can get your hands on a copy.

this is a higher-quality version than the first one, but i lost my first few comments. the aspect ratio of the animation is 1:1 (so it's a square) so it's letterboxed on the sides.
