  • another vote for drivem hard, they don`t like being babied.

  • Right on put the pedal to the floor

  • i have driven a DD truck. only it was a stroke detroit diesel. series 60 turbodiesel. and you can feel that turbo kick in too. for sure

  • Yeah those are good engines we had one in an FLD Freightliner in the late 90s

  • These came with a weak 430 HP, when compared to a Cat or Cummins of similar HP rating. I had one in an Astro with a 13 speed trans. I never heard of turning one up. They would come apart. They had a nasty habit of coming apart on their own, without any changes.

  • Nahh you put marine injectors in these detroits drivin pissed off(hard) and they last forever as long as you have a true silver 92ta and not just an 8v92

  • @pilot96732 its true what freightshaker8v92 says driver hard and you can do what ever you want to them i have two an inter. transtar and a general and my general is tuned to shit and she still going but i never let her turn under 21 rpm maker scream and shell last for ever

  • Near the airport?

  • yupp

  • @Freightshaker8v92

Worked at Langley Chrysler for years

Took that route every 2nd weekend to the Okanagan to skip Friday rush hour on #1. Longer but ultimately faster.

  • cool truck, ive never rid'in in a truck that has the engine under you (but i have rid'in in a truck with the engine out front) when you drive can you feel it under you at all ???

  • I find it quieter because the noise is underneath muffled while in front more space

  • @chadro85 in my old coe only when i runnin about 140-145 there a big noise from the turbo, then at 148- the turbo harmonics go away :)

  • Is this a "silver" that has the turbo ontop of the blower? My old man had one.

  • am i the only one that seen that car pull out wat a dumbass

  • good looking old coe i had an 80 model with a 6v92 man i miss the old girl the only bad part about her was that 65 mph was wide open but damn i love the old cab overs and i am one of the young drivers being only 28 yrs old but to me they are the real trucks along with the old 359s and a model kwoppers

  • what a beast

  • i see u have a round eye freight shaker nice truck, dont see many now days on the road now days most young peaple cant drive a cabover,

  • Thanks

  • @MrMrcrain As a "young people" =) whats it like to drive a cabover..i couldnt imagine being right over the steer axle...

  • It makes everything up close at the wheel it makes driving unique to say the least

  • Yeah this old girl has had her last days

  • @Freightshaker8v92 why you say that she seems very healthy to me!

  • Yeah defintly man

  • yeah its stock

  • kinda looks like at the end that car pulled out in front of you and just about hit it

  • Yeah they did lucky we did not crash

  • LOL, lucky that you were not hauling any thing, or else you would have hit him

  • Yeah

  • @Freightshaker8v92

i think the car would have chipped some paint off the bumper of your cab-over..As for the car, it would have been disintegrated..

What a dumb ass...Beautiful old truck...My Uncle has a long nose pete with a 12v71
