this was alot of help but my nib is for drawing cartoons and i still am confused cuz my dip nib is a little diffrent from yours. my is a speedball nib pen.

Thank you Suzanne for another great video. Your camera work and relaxing videos are wonderful. I tried this gwash technique and it worked great. However, I did get a bit of drying because of my hot studio lighting. I solved this problem by adding a small drop of Propylene glycol to the water\paint mixture. Positive note: It stayed fluid for an hour with no drying in the tip. Negative note: my work took an hour to dry. But it worked. Propylene glycol is about $9 a quart from your pharmacy. lol
