  • any fruit or veggie that has a skin on it that you are going to peel off you don't need to get organic.

  • Hi Erin! In this video, you mention eating lots of proteins, whole grains, fruits and veggies. Do you have any recommendations of specific brands or types of these foods for people on a budget? I recently moved out and need to watch my money, so shopping at places like Whole Foods or Fresh Market isn't really an option for me anymore :(

  • Oh hello! Have you thought about intellectus 424 diet (do a search on google)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my friend lost tons of weight with it.

  • When i changed to all organic my fat loss plateau ended and i lost 5-7 pounds the first few weeks without changed in portion or exercise-and organic meat tastes great!

  • So true. When you are in tune you feel the immediate effect of what food does to you.

  • I love how you took the time to describe this...Great job! interesting:)

  • GREAT VIDEOS, and u have a nice body. not thin not thick.

  • Wow you're amazing. That's what I needed to hear. I love how you're so real. You make sooooo much sense.

  • Count the times she says toxins and back burner.

  • What are the poisons in food? how about the vitamins in v8 juice?

  • ok, so i bought this cleansing kit, it contains milk thistle, mild mild laxitives and fiber pills. i heard this flushes out these toxins. whats your take on this?

  • Thanks so much I understand you very well what my doctor whats trying to tell me with his fancy language!!

  • You have a lot of true health wisdom but what confuse me is why you decided to pollute it yourself with tattoos when we know that skin is our body biggest organ ?

I'm assuming you had them before you learned about health truth.

  • no nonsense the best real way to get rid of the fat , for more info copy this link and past into ur browser -----> fly2.ws\sGuDmTF

  • Your theory is interesting but as a science student I have to ask where are you getting this information from? I have learnt that organically grown food have not been proven to be conclusively more beneficial than conventional food.Consider that by eliminating processed foods you would lower your calorie and fat intake anyway thus lowering your energy consumption and resulting in weight loss.

  • i like your videos! keep up the good work and block out the negative comments, "they're haters" "you're video's are superb!!!"

  • is toxicants a word?

  • I wish more people could think like you!! great viseo and great tattoos!

  • I'm GMO free (only eat organic and natural raised chicken/fish/pork albeit not a lot of pork. My skin is usually flawless looking now, i feel better, have less stomach issues, my depression has gotten better, and the list goes on. It's more expensive, but its so much more worth it (plus you dont need to get those weight loss shakes/bars/meals/pills/powders/shots/patches/machines/etc. great job erin! love your videos!

  • very informative video!! beautiful tatts also. Rock on! -Mandy

  • do you have any stores or products that you can suggest?

  • Hi I this is SOOO TRUE!

My husband and I went to Ethiopia (where he is from) and I lost sooo much weight. Now I know what your thinking, but it wasnt for the lack of food, I ate 4 big meals a day!!! I swear they kept me so full! I Lost over 20 pounds in one month just from eating NATURAL FOOD! Every meat I ate was slaughtered at home, vegies were not processed or chemically grown... no chips.. no anything other than REAL WHOLESOME FOOD! OH howI miss it! Im looking foward to my next trip :)

  • ok, i'm subscribed :) do you have a fitness twitter account? you should! i would definitely follow!

  • This completely makes sense to me now. I know this may be TMI, but when I marched drum corps, I was on the field moving for about 13 hours a day for 3 months. I wasn't allowed to have sugar or any fast food that entire time. I didn't start losing weight until after my body did this really weird thing where when I urinated it was very cloudy and smelled terrible and not normal . . . I can't believe those were all toxins. How gross.

  • Very true ... and nice tattoos ....thanks for the info -> 5Stars

  • i love sugar though.... god dammit why is this hard!? I'm not fat, i never get sick, blood pressure is better than average, no allergies.... and i love sugar.

  • that's a cool shirt!!

  • sweet! thanks for the info

  • cool video, but i keep hearing people say organic this and organic that. i had a chemistry professor that said organic means carbon based and has nothing to do with natural food or going green. he said "people got it ass backwards."

  • Hum? I just don't want to eat food that is genetically modified, sprayed with chemicals & that was grown in soil depleted of nutrients. Not to mention by companies who want to put family farmers out of biz. Much rather eat naturally grown foods from a local farmer that hasn't been sprayed with cancer causing pesticides and has been grown in healthy soil. But, the beautiful thing is that's my choice. I don't think your professor is correct but evenif he is, I'd still rather be safe than sorry!

  • yeah youre right, but he didnt mean that people shouldnt eat natural food. he meant that people use the word organic wrong. organic is associated with chemistry.

  • it is.. organic means from the earth. whether or not it has carbon. [things from the earth have carbon] .. otherwise, our science textbooks. are LIARSSS. haha.

  • what they mean is organic=ecological

  • or good for the body ; )

  • @sofloverpyro when it comes to food it doesn't have the same meaning as chemistry. Organic is used to mean that its natural with nothing added into it. maybe the best named wasn't picked but the meaning behind organic food isn't "ass backwards" Check out the documentary "Food Inc" you'll understand.

  • @deadlylilscorpio0o

    I call it "Un-adulterated" foods.

Foods that grow naturally from healthy life giving soil.

  • Comment removed

  • @sofloverpyro exactly. carbon based, made naturally, not processed, chemically produced, or synthesized. organic. my husband had that same argument b/c of his engineering studies. but that is not the point. the point is whole, naturally produced food.

  • @sofloverpyro It could be true but is the best way to be healthy... Other kind of food is almost poison :(

  • You sound like you eat healthy and work out a lot!! Good for you! How much do you work out per day and per week??

  • i work out one hour 5-6 days a week. alternating between pilates, yoga, intervals, cardio, spinning etc.... fun fun :)

  • whats left to eat?

  • nice video but you keep repeating the same thing.

  • I can't say it enough!!!! LOL!

  • Although eating whole foods (unprocessed) is the best way to eat, weight loss is the product of eating less calories than you expend (negative energy balance). You can eat only chef boyardee and lose weight as long as you eat less than you expend. It will be a very nutrient-poor choice, and will most likely lead to deficiencies, but you can burn fat while eating only processed food.

  • fushing your system daily with vegatables and fruit will speed the body's metabolism, and help metabolise stored fat into energy.

exersice will also speed the metabolism over a few days or a few weeks.

without speeding the metabolism it can be a very slow process and a very hungry one

  • What a great tip! Sure, I *know* I should eat clean, pesticide-free, whole foods, but I didn't fully understand the consequences of NOT eating whole foods! Woo, I am definitely going to clean my diet up! Thanks for the inspiration!

  • This makes so much sense, as someone who's been brought up on processed/fast food etc I'd love some tips on what to eat thats healthy and natural and balanced other than the obvious fruit and veg, I run out of ideas and always seem to go back to eating junk :(

  • Oh Girl, I hear ya! Just follow the 80/20 rule: 80 % of the time eat as healthy as possible, organic etc... 20 % of the time you can indulge!

  • Hey Erin,

Such a great reminder. Much needed for our fast-food-lifestyle - spoken from someone who's a guilty participant! LOL

    Thanks for sharing.
