Cortez is usually very professional. That was a tough call. The guy was going so low, his opponent was having trouble seeing whether he was still fighting. If I have one criticism of Cortez, he should have jumped in and called a knockdown as soon as the guy put a knee on the canvas. Instead, he let it get out of control, and fixed his mistake with the DQ. Ref'ing a clumsy fighter is a lot like fighting a clumsy fighter. It's a real pain in the ass.
