You can't really see it from this angle, even though this is the V.I.P seating area, but they did have to really run at it and jump, as there was nothing for them to climb up on the side.
The dogs wouldn't have been able to jump it without the momentum from the jump. Untill they get to the top, there isn't anything for them to grip onto, so it's more likerunning through the air.
The dogs we compete with usually jump untill about the top few boards, then pull themselves over.
how the hell do they expect the dog to jump the last one from that close. i meen come on they might have got higher if they gave the dogs a chance and a runner up.
its a working dog jump they run from a short distance because they climb it not jump it (; xx

THey jump on one side but then have something on the other side for them to land on so they don't hurt themselves.

the last dog,we clearly see they didnt give the dog enough space ...the man give it short space then shorter space in last jump..

They DO climb! If thy would jump, they woudn't touch the obstacle. They jump to the upper end and then CLIMB over it!!!
