in my pesonal tests in gen.3 .40 cal tula accuracy has been awful and dont like flat nosed target round either i only shoot hollow points through mine they are a hole lot more accurate my favorite ive shot so far are winchester pesonal protections and the only ammo ive had a problem with are magtech hollowpoints they have a really large cavity while it will shoot them sometimes it dont like to rack the first round to easily only bought one box of these could have just been a bad batch
@BIGGxDAWG210 I agree. since posting this video I stopped buying Tula. I keep about 400 rounds of it in my cache for emergencies...but I don't shoot it on a regular basis anymore. I also like PDX1. I carry it in my glock 23 and my Ruger Lc9. 165G for the .40, and 149G +P in my 9mm.
Yet another great video my friend. I like the Winchester stuff from Walmart, and the Federal. I haven't used the Tula yet because my range won't allow it. I have to find an outdoor range or open property to buy! My G23 Gen4 had those two FTE when I first shot it, I don't know if you remember we talked about the dual recoil spring. My spring is apparently one of the newer ones because it has a #3 on the end of it. Since those first two mags fired, I haven't had a single problem! God bless.
I find my glock to work great with the Tul ammo, but I have some concern with it at the range. This ammo generates sparks when it hits at the back of the range and the last time I went I heard one richochet. I researched it online and found that this ammo is steel core with a copper jacket. This explains the sparks. Now I need to find a new alternative for the range.

Hey no problem. I think i already fully decided on sticking to mainly federal and winchester target ammo. both usa made in fact! Both great quality too. This federal is cheaper than the winchester which is very unbelieveable! Dont get me wrong tul ammo is good too i suppose but for one or two dollars more a box i might as well go all the way for 1 great brands sure thing! 2 usa made 3 and serve the small buisnesses instead of walmart by getting my ammo there. The winc target ammo works amazing!
So the tul ammo has treated you well? I was thinking about getting some for my glock 22. It is 12$ a box and thats cheap for around here! Cheapest i found yet. Have you ever hand loaded? If so any problems with hand loads? I have the equipment to do 38/ 357 so i could easily get the die if it works. Cheapest box around here is 16$ usually, but i found federal and you can really depend on federal! Thanks
@crazydiesellover Hey thanks for the comment. I've never had any problems with Tul-ammo. It's also 12 bucks where i live and it's good for cheap range ammo. What kind of gun do you have? I'd check to see if it's ok to run steel case through it. And no, I don't reload...I'd like to do that in the future, but I don't have the money to invest in the equipment. And I do really like federal. I've gotten it for 11 bucks a box at gander mountain before.
