Warioman's down-A aerial does it. But it's kinda risky cuz he dives down so far. But his unlimited aerials make it easy to recover. =]

They go after the person with the most lives. And if there are people tied with lives, they just go for the character that's closest.

Yeah, because they have to be on solid ground. Only the bottom platform is considered "solid" because you can't pass through it.
