I can't believe I can't get past Jennifer in the original Splatterhouse, I'm really determined to beat it, but I need help...

Can anyone give me any kind of advice or information, like so as to practice, on how to pass level 5 in the original, I can't even figure out how to gain extra hearts :(

@FlippyKrueger An easy way to beat Jen on the TG-16 version is to spam punches on either side of the room for the first 2 phases and walk up to her and punch her when she does those short hops on the 3rd phase. For the arcade version, I end up doing the same thing, but in the middle of the room instead. You could get fancy with slide kicks and stuff which you can check out on the latest video response I posted. I think I beat her in something like 8 seconds in that video.

@FlippyKrueger its kind of hard too pull off you need to jump up and move in a direction (so basically your jumping just like you would if you were to jump over a hole) and just before landing while still holding left/right press down and punch, so its like jump right down punch, lol thats a pretty shity explanation but i hope it helps just spam it alot cause its very powerful but you need a little distance to do it you can't just move slightly

And big deal, this video's been up for 4 years, and the only reason anyone knows anything about this video at all is because it's a stolen format used by someone who executed it better.
