I know a pocket square is a pocket square etc, but went into Hermes on Bond Street today to look at their mens pocket squares- they ONLY do plain with an H or H self colour pattern. Showed them your video - you are using a WOMANS square. Also a shirt with cufflinks should only be worn with a tie. Open neck shirts - button cuff. You say that you are going to teach men to dress- Physician heal thyself !!!
@DerekFlint1 Actually, it is a unisex design and very special. Hence it is rare in supply. This video was posted in June 2010 and of course now the collections have changed. As for your rules on shirts, ties and cufflinks, you'll find many men divided on this topic and it comes down to personal style. If you know the rules, sometimes it is ok to break them. The most important thing is to feel comfortable. Sticking firmly to rules out of a book can make you look dressed up, but not authentic.
thanks for posting this guide.
this isnt a womans silk square, its unisex. I own many Hermes pocket squares.
