that is a very beautiful stitch, thank you so very much for making this video to show us how to do it! i will definately be making something with this stitch! thanks again Michael!!! you rock!!!
I USED THIS PARTICULAR STYLE OF STITCHING TO MAKE HEADBANDS TO PUT AROUND YOUR EARS IN THE WINTER TIME. I HAVE SOME PEOPLE WHO DO NOT LIKE TO WHERE HATS JUST SOMETHING AROUND THEIR EARS SO THIS HELP ME WITH THAT PROJECT
@MsJazzy70 omg yes he does i hold my yarn same as him n his tension is perfect n mine is almost tight, mks me crazy to watch how easy n fast it is for him, i know hes been crocheting for a long time, way longer than me but jeeze lol
I use to do this when I was younger but using 5 front 7 back, then switching after three rows. try it and see what I mean, another basket weave look. thanks for this one...I also did this when I was knitting by knit 5 purl 7 for 5 rows then switching purl 5 knit 7.
Wow I love this look! Thanks for making a great video. I love the way you teach a stitch so we can apply the knowledge to our own projects! Keep making these great videos :) not just for one pattern, b
If you were doing this for a round hat would you still need 5 stitches at each end? Have you done a ribbing video? Would that look good to do a ribbing with a basket weave hat?
I really love your teaching. Easy to understand. My wife and I are expecting our first baby and because of you I am making her a basket weave blanket and many other baby things. Thank you sooo... much. Happy Holidays!
i love your video's,.you are picking up where my grant grandmother [ she taught me ] left off,you are making possible for me to learn thngs i've always wanted to learn, but didn't know how,all i really knew was the granny square
