That's definitely on par with the best I've ever listened to. Excellent execution of the running passages, knowing where and when to hold back during the more tranquil parts of the piece. Though, I would have loved to see the joy and relief of you finishing such a demanding piece, instead of an emotionless girl away from the piano. Amazing nevertheless.

this is one of my favorites! Great playing! I loved it although I think 2 parts should have been interpreted differently. the part where the main theme comes back in Eb major and in triplets should have been much slower. same with its variation later on: WAY too fast. other than that bravo!

The same early perfection and musicality: a strong fire in interpretation and a very sure conception in interpretation. The first Beethovenconcerto at the competiton 2008 proofs this too....

Annie will be neither Argerich nor Arrau but she will be herself, another important musician like Argerich and Arrau.. there is no doubt about this, of course under condition that she continues to work hard and arrange intelligent her carrer. Its important also to arrange a life where she is happy and fulfilled. The piano is an important aspect of life but not the only one. Hope she will manage to arrange private life and piano!

Annie, in my opinion very few pianists in the entire world play piano any better than you and Cissy. Many may play just as good, but I believe few are better.

And that even includes professional's like Ashkenazy, Barenboim, even Horowitz.

Not only this Ballade but every piece you and Cissy play is played with excellence.

this is excellent. she has what to me seems like a complete grasp of this horrendously difficult piece. among the youtube prodigies i have to say annie rates as one of its finest! the music comes through. i just got done listening to the recent chopin competition winner, yulianna avdeeva playing this ballade back in 2008 and annie's rendition to me is so much more communicative and expressive! this is worlds away from annie's earlier video where she plays the fantaisie impromptu.
