There is no car on the market right now for under 30K that puts out numbers like the G8 GT does. Its mind boggling to me that Pontiac finally nails a sports sedan right on the nuts, and then GM and all its shit ass wisdom decides to cut it. WHY???
@GXPFiend lol I think you should look up the Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo or FPV F6 310 both are Australian just like the G8 except they are i6 and fly past the G8 (Commodore SS in Australia).
@GXPFiend unfortunately not... but its still worth to have a look at, especially now when Ford is deciding what cars to keep for the one ford tactic. If enough people ask for it I suppose it would go to America and if it did I guarantee Americans would be glad to see it replace the Taurus
I too own a 2009 G8 GT, and you sir, are an embarassment. That was a ridiculous review. You facts were all wrong, and your opinions were so dull. It's okay, its decent, pretty good job, not bad for the money..
I feel sorry for that G8 because I can feel the embarrassment this car has for the useless reviewer in the video. You can tell by the look from the car at 0:23 that it just wants to drive away and never come or maybe the car's look at 2:59 gives me the idea that it just wants to shift into reverse and run you over.
Seriously you BMW guys, don't you have anything else to do better than to rant about a nice car like the G8.
@pursuitdude Which in Australia, has been modified and messed with for even more power. The V6 equivalent in Australia is still rear wheel drive, as Australia wasn't hoodwinked into thinking front wheel drive belongs on a family sedan. The Camaro was designed and developed in Australia, they just handed the blueprints to Chevrolet to build it
@Mechknight73 Imagine yanks in a HSV GTS!!! They would go crazy. Holden keeps the best things for aussies only... and kiwis... and poms although they have old model gts...
" All Very American " .... WTF ? It is from Australia DICKHEAD !!!!! It was and always will be a Holden Commodore built in Melbourne , Australia at their Fishermans Bend , car plant for export all around the world !!!!
@likeaaaglove You have to remember, that some Americans are ignorant of the world. Not all, but some. Just because it has a Pontiac badge and a Chevrolet engine doesn't mean it's "all American"
The Hood Vents Are Functional Look At The Back Side Of The Hood With It Open And You Will See The Other Side Of The Vents In The Headliner. Also The Reason It Would Not Start Keyless When The Hood Was Up Was Due To The Fact He Had Already Started It Once Before. The G8 Will Only Do It One Time From Remote Until The Key Is Used In The Ignition Which Resets It.
lol there's a difference between 'functional' and 'necessary' and the vents in the bonnet are definitely not necessary from a cooling or induction point of view...
33 thousand?? piss off. We made this car but why should the yanks get it for cheaper

garce515 2 years ago 2
actually they arent.. there is a mod that you can do and you can take them off. but then if it rains the engine bay gets a lot of water in it

it beats the r/t charger not the srt
